It was a trader, it wasnt too far so I thought it was worth a look. Didnt expect much, they said £3k so would have been really cheap so didnt expect a perfect car. Had a warranty, but from what I saw I dont think it would have been very good, probably like " oh I can get a mate to fix that" It was on auto trader (not on there now) I think they might of had that car, but sold it and quickly went and found any old Z, just didnt seem right. Not gonna name names, perhaps they are ok I just had a bad experiance.

and what a bag of sh1t. Advertised as a 93 manual TT. Turned out to be a G reg (89?) auto, no radio inside, wires hanging out. One front wheel arch missing the other tie rapped on. The lower front bumper was foam, WHAT THE FOOK IS GOING ON THERE???? A total waste of time in the end!!!!

Im taking the buying a Z guide from this site. Only thing is it says about checking the turbo and if its in safe mode. I've never been in a 300zx so dunno what its going to be like. Would have thought you'd be able to tell though....

I got the shumacher menace 21. Its really fast but very weak. I've upgraded some bits but it just puts stress on other parts then they snap. I had a head on almost flat out with my mate and it cost a fortune to fix!!! Still great fun though. Just dont do that one advertised on tv monthly.

So it seems I can afford the insurance on one. So, I am selling my car for £4000. What sort of 300zx will that give me. I've noticed that a lot of the UK spec ones are quite high millage, but being a V6 the revs arnt high so engine wear shouldnt be too bad?? Jap imports tend to have a lot less miles but insurance will go up by 200-300 pounds. Would it be better to go jap with lower miles and higher insurnace or just go fot the UK spec. What do you guys recon??? :hyper:
