Out with the new..in with the old
Yeah it's a new school Scirroco and to be honest I really like it but I really miss having something I can play with and the Scirroco is definitely not one to be played with. Unfortunately I can't afford both...I always promised myself that I would get myself a "weekend car" but for a while at least the weekend car will have to be my only car. The plan is a 300Z and something like an Audi A4 estate to use everyday..I have a big dog so need the extra room.

The standard power will be enough for me for now I think. Any modding will be mostly styling...nothing crazy...just nice wheels...maybe a splitter and skirts depending on the ground clearance. I am led to believe that the engine runs very hot and has a small radiator...is there room for a bigger one? Is this a mod that people generally do at all?

Thanks so much for the advice, I didn't expect everyone to be so helpful at all.

The above message was a reply to gaz offering import services. Sorry I don’t frequent forums.

I was looking at that this morning actually. I love the colour too. As soon as I have got rid of the VW I’ll be in touch. It all depends how much I get for it.

I saw the buyers guide on here like 2 mins after posting...very useful. I’m looking at a 2+2, TT...probably import...just because that’s all that seems available. For now it will be my everyday car so info on reliability is most welcome. I really want something I can mod from standard..I desperately need something to play with.

Hey all, I just joined and once I have sold my boring ass Scirocco I plan to get myself a 300ZX. I'm sick of the way new cars are dumbing down the driving experience, I'm sick of playing it safe and I'm sick of mediocrity. I have always loved the 300ZX and if I don't do it now I never will. I have read buying guides online but I would appreciate any insight that you guys can provide with regards to things to look out for and things to avoid. I appreciate your help.
