it is now all the way around all the time, even with the key out, if i tap the binnacle it does move but goes straight back almost as if it is magnetised ?

looks like it`s 1 of them weeks, corrected the power window issue now as soon as i start the engine or put the ignition on the speedo needle goes all the way around past the 180 mark :/, any ideads people ?

hi, my power windows all of a sudden stopped working, drivers side was open and stopped about 2 inches going up and now appear dead, checked fuses all seem ok, any ideas please

a supplier of parts in Leicester had some 30mm core plugs in stock

...and she holds water again! 7 core plugs changed, 3 inside the bell housing (1 failed changed all 3) and 2 either side of the block. During this time noticed a couple of holes on the exhaust which we are now welding then time for external cosmetic fixes and she is almost for the road

Need a few parts - Rear lights and centre - Rear tail gate with mint stock spoiler or aftermarket supra style spoiler or tail gate with spoiler removed and bodywork corrected

does anybody know the core plug size for the side of the block please ?

We believe we've found the source of the leak which is directly left of passenger side engine mount next to the ac compressor its the core plug nearest front of vehicle with 2 match stick sized holes https://imgur.com/a/SdvAW

Here she is, japanese import nissan fairlady z twin turbo, de-catted, de-restricted, ram air induction, twin bailey dump valves, 5 inch diameter rage exhaust system, ecu re-map, running @ 418.3 bhp (or was she's probably lost a few over the years)

Thank you, hopefully it's not going to be too much of a headache to find, it's a problem that has been there for quite a while I've just not got around to fixing the car mechanically is sound apart from the water leak, there's a few cosmetics I need to sort out too. Need to get the car right and back on the road again and now is the perfect time to get it sorted ready for the summer

Yes the engine runs spot on but due to loss of water it does not get far before its gets to hot and needs to be switched off - - - Updated - - - Heater matrix hoses are fine the leak is lower than the outside top of gear box

Water is coming out as fast as its going in, we've got the z on a ramp and from looking underneath it seams to be coming from the gearbox bell housing, thoughts to it being the core plug behind the fly wheel. What are the chances of it being that is there any more water pipes that we have missed near by to this area.
