Exhaust advice
The test pipes I have came with replacement down pipes because the flange placement was different. I'd suggest getting under there with the parts in your hand and do some eyeballing to see if you're in the same situation. Yes the down pipes can be replaced without pulling the engine. It was an awful job to do, but didn't require any particularly special tools. I did it with hinged ratchet spanners and string.

Small Brake Kits
Thanks for the replies. Probably going to have to go with Plan B as suggested. The CZP refurbished ones are very tempting. But seeing as I don't have existing parts to exchange with them, the price for the parts plus hardware, shipping, and taxes is going to make that option pretty expensive. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a known off the shelf option.

Small Brake Kits
I'm certainly not against doing that. It was just going to be my "Plan B" if I could confirm that my "Plan A" of a kit of brand new equivalent parts doesn't exist.

Small Brake Kits
Does anybody have, or know of an aftermarket brake kit that will fit behind the standard 16's on the front without wheel spacers? The reason I'm asking this is that I'm prepping my Z to go back on the road after sitting unused in a garage for about 5 years. It currently has 18's with worn out tyres all around and a D2 big brake kit on the front. I'm not very keen on paying for new tyres on wheels I intend to remove as I want to return the car to stock for a long term project. The current brakes will stop me from doing that and the original disks and calipers are long gone. The obvious answer would be to just re-buy standard calipers and disks again, but there's a lot of second hand ones out there of dubious condition. So if I can buy aftermarket new, I will. I've searched here and Google for answers, but not found anything particularly useful on the subject, other than what won't fit.

Standard Wheel Silver Paint
Bit of an update. I've spoken to a few places now, including Nissan approved body shops and 3rd party wheel repair companies, but they have no clue about paint codes for wheels. Body paint yes, wheel paint no. The Nissan approved body shop put me through to their contact at Wessex Garages, but again they had no info on wheel paint. So now they have put me in contact with Nissan itself. If I get any results, I'll post it here.

Standard Wheel Silver Paint
That's a shame if true. I had been toying with the idea of buying another wheel just so I had a reference. I'm not particularly keen on buying an entire set of spares just for matching the paint, but that may be the reality. Thanks for checking though.

Standard Wheel Silver Paint
I didn't find what I was looking for in the search, and Google didn't get me what I wanted either. I am returning my car to stock spec for a project, and have had the standard 16's soda blasted back to bare metal as they had been painted black many years ago. Does anyone know what the Nissan paint code is for the silver used on the stock wheels, or a paint code of another manufacturer that is a closest match?

Complete brake line replacement
Planning on replacing the entire brake line system soon while I have the subframe out. I've had a quick browse through past threads on this subject about what pipe and fittings to use. Is there anybody who has done this job in full or in part that can provide some pro-tips? Such as quantity and type of pipe and fittings used, and any potential pitfalls to avoid during the process. Also considering replacing the fuel lines while I'm at it, but that pipe looks slightly thicker than the brake pipes. FYI I have the electric HICAS, so no pipes to replace for that.
