Thanks for that info bud, But do you think it would still be in good condition, was fitted 6 years ago now. How much bhp do you think it would have lost? Probably need a new turbo? Still a lot to ask lol

Just done some major digging online and belive I have actually found the previous owner of the car on these forums!! Surely if it's from that long ago the turbo would be toast by now? Seems a lot of work has gone into it!!

That's what I'm looking for, i don't mind spending money on it as long as it's worth it, a respray or minor engine components would be fine for me. I know cars can get expensive but i just love cars :) I'll keep my eye out for a half decent one - - - Updated - - - There beautiful cars bud, I would have one in any condition:)

Like I said, don't mind if it needs some work as long as the engine is good. Don't mind bad bodywork as it can usually be fixed...apart from rust lol

Budget is only £3-3500, probably won't get a TT for that but not sure if I want an NA because i want boost

I was thinking the same thing, does anyone know anything about na Turbo's? Anyone on here had one? Just sounds like there would be a world of problems but I've never had a 300zx so I wouldn't know lol

Hi guys, basically I just signed up so first I'll say hi to everyone :) I love the 300zx and have always wanted one, just thoght I'd ask some advice about buying and yes I have read the buying guide :) So I've seen this Nissan 300zx for sale and it's a 3.0 na, it's had a single turbo conversion and is mounted in the rear. Guy says it's a squires turbo system (no idea if that's good) I'm assuming it's been built for drifting as it has a welded diff, I was going to get the diff replaced for a non welded one as I won't be drifting lol. THe car has 84000 miles and was serviced 1k ago, has 351bhp with printout and apparently has a forged engine. Has a blitz computer and a greddy boost controller. I do have some pics but that's basically all I know. He's selling it for £3,500 but will take £3k, sounds cheap but I don't know what a single turbo 300 goes for? If I was going to view the car it's a few hours away so would have to buy if I went as I don't want to waste my time. Can any of you guys give me guidance? Never owned a Nissan but am I going to hav issues with it? Don't want to buy it then it die on me in 2 weeks or so. Is it worth it or would I be wasting my time?
