  1. It's one of the small 12mm diameter hoses. Here is a photo of the back of the engine (not my car) and i have circled the hose in yellow to show which one i mean. thanks
  2. UPDATE: Discovered that the leak was actually coolant, also found exactly where it was coming from, still need help with the issue however. Here is the new thread: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?187720-Coolant-leak-from-hose-above-EGR-Need-Help!&p=1955609#post1955609
  3. Ive recently discovered coolant shooting out from a very short black hose that sits between the EGR valve and the coolant heater core pipes. I'm simply wondering if anyone knows what the actual hose is called so I can get a replacement and if anyone knows the best way to remove this hose as space back there is very limited Any advice would be greatly appreciated
  4. Okay cheers guys, I'll check the cam cover and see if the oil is coming from there. Much appreciated.
  5. I'm not 100% certain that it's oil, however it seemed to smell like oil to me. I know that a lot of the hoses have been replaced, including radiator hoses, intercooler hoses, heater matrix hoses and a coolant system silicon upgrade. it didn't long ago have a service, maybe a month or two ago. Service included all the belts, tensioners, idlers and pulleys. Thanks for the reply
  6. So I recently purchased my first Z. She's a 1990 Auto TT. The other day I noticed some smoke coming from the back of the engine bay, next to the gearbox fluid dipstick. I'm assuming that there is oil leaking from somewhere and is dripping onto the exhaust however I'm not 100%. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before or knows what the issue might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm very new to the Z's. Thanks.
