Hey, firstly love your build. joined just to say that pretty much
Im doing a similar thing here in australia
Vh45 z32 with 180 degree headers, ITB's and cams all powered by a megasquirt. even using an accusump. not nearly as nice as your car tho. Kudos, it looks incredible
got a couple of questions. I'm using a ms3x (still building it lol) - the type you build and wire in yourself. Did you ever get your MS3 running? any tips?
also, your intake plates, have you flow tested or CFD'd them? i'm building ITB's for my VH, and generally a converging flow past 14 degrees or diverging flow past 7 degrees will cause turbulent flow, as will a sharp transition (iirc the stock runners are 'leant over' about 30 degrees from vertical?)
My own design has different constraints (has to mate up to the base of the ITB) but is quite a bit taller. Due to the profile mine cannot me machined though, so they'll be Lost Plastic Cast, or potentially 3d printed in polycarb or glass reinforced nylon (testing this now). unfortunately i cant post CFD results since my laptop cant handle openFOAM (but they exist i promise)
heres a few pics of my humble attempts
Also, what tuned intake length are you going for?
any plans for headers?
so many questions. Love your work
Matt
