  1. here's the new listing and some new pics http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/131843270578?
  2. Still for sale, dropping price to £4500, as I need the garage space.
  3. Welcome arfan, glad we made contact, and hopefully see u soon.
  4. Hi Adam, I'm open to offers, and these are not so bad to keep running & insure (classic car cover is very cheap).
  5. Hey Daffy, what sort of timing you working towards? since i can garage the car for u if interested, maybe a small holding deposit until the time is right?
  6. i've been a good boy this morning, and changed the Windows Amp, so it does now work. though i have to smile at Jeff's comment about just unclip the bottom of the door to get to it.... yep if the old amp unit gently slides of it's bracket then no problem, but when it's welded on with age then you end up having to take the whole door panel off to get the bracket off to then wrestle the amp of the bracket.... hey-ho, all done now.
  7. Cheers Jeff, I now really have no excuse not to do it.
  8. Nah, it's a just take the door panel off and swap in the replace amp unit i have, and that should sort the window, as i've already changed the switch so i know thats ok.
  9. Yeah, that's kinda what i figured regards price, since if i lowered it people will assume there's a problem, which of course there isn't, it's totally stock. Cheers for input.
  10. Hi Z'eders, i'm selling my Z on this forum Forum Link , and also stuck it on ebay Classified eBay Link , but got no interest so far, would appreciate any pointers, am i way of the mark on price?? or is there just no interest in these cars atm, since i assumed they were finally becoming a sought after classic. yes i could keep hold of her, but could really do with releasing the money tied up in her. cheers
  11. Having followed the forum for over 10 years, and owned this Z for 12 years, it's now time to let her go, as she isn't used much and really deserves to be driven and enjoyed, and i could do with releasing some money to help with a new project i have (you'll spot the XKR in the pics) This car has had a very easy and comfy life, spending all it's time garaged, and it's only covered 20,000 miles in 12 years! i have serviced it each year or every 3,000 miles with Mobil1 and original filters. These are finally an appreciating classic, and the prices are only set to go-up, this one is a very standard and is in great condition. The only mod that's been done is for practical purposes, and thats the fitting of HID's, but these can be easily removed to go back to original. The car comes with loads of paperwork, old MOT's, invoices etc, and the work sheets for the work Jeff at ZedWorld has done in the past. this one is fairly rare, in that it was manufactured in July 1989, the same month the 300ZX's went on sale in Japan, so it's one of the very early ones to come of the production line. This comes with x2 sets of keys and remotes a full years MOT, until 6 May 2017 It's had the paintwork refreshed where needed to get rid of usual chips etc it comes with the Owners Manual, and the Targa Top Covers I have the ConZult equipment which i'll include I purchased/fitted some original refurbished Alloys a few years back Tyres very good all round, Avons on the back and Michelins on the front Alarm/Immobiliser fitted The car has only done 56956 miles, when purchased speedo read 59,014 kilometres (36,669 miles), this was then changed from KPH to MPH by ZedWorld. The speedo now reads 79,302 therefore actual mileage is (79,302-59,015 = 20,287 miles since conversion) + 36,669 miles before conversion = 56,956 miles. The big job of Cam belt/inlet hoses/thermostat/ancillary belts has all been done a few years back by Jeff at ZedWorld I have a spare rear section exhaust in excellent condition which i'll include, as these SWB ones are hard to come by, so I snapped it up when it was for sale. New battery about 3 months ago. I'm open to sensible offers on this, but i'm not going to give it away, since happy to leave it garaged for a few more years, and it'll only go up in value. Still for sale, dropping price to £4500, as I need the garage space.
  12. Great stuff, so let me get the list of fluids right..... Coolant, Engine Oil, Gearbox, Brake. Think that's it. I did at least remember to leave the handbrake off, phew. D
  13. Hi all, Z's been sleeping for 5years (due to a whole range of circumstances) in a cozy dry garage, but now it's time to finally get it back on the road, just wondered what you'd suggest i check out/change before i try and drive somewhere for an MOT, and also what'd be good to have serviced on it after 5 years of sleep. Cheers David
  14. give madasafish (been around since early days of dial-up) a go, very good service and customer support, also open to a bit of good-ol-fashion haggling on deals...
