  1. Hi, I have my passenger side seat belt not extending any more. Can I replace it from another model? The 20 year old seatbelts are not in the best shape. Thanks Tazino

  3. Thanks for this, it was raining pretty heavy. How can I cure, do I need to consider replacing the induction kit and/or maf?
  4. Hi, I was crusing along on the Motorway at 70MPH and suddenly the Z began to loose power, with some juddering/jerking, the speed slowed down to about 50MPH and returned to normal, it happened 2/3 times, what can this be? Any idea? I thought I was about to brake down, by the loyal 300ZX managed to get me home. The driving surface was flat throughout. What needs to be checked? The car is otherwise in good condition. 1998 60K twin turbo manual, import. Thanks
  5. Does anyone know what are those alloys?
  6. I am totally appalled by the Paris attack and totally and unequivocally condemn the barbarism. My heartfelt sympathies and deepest commiserations are with the families of those murdered in cold blood. However, I would like to add as a Muslim the ISIS do not any anyway represent the Islam faith or its ideals, they are an affront to my faith, just like Hitler/Nazi are to Christendom, or any far right organisation can be seen representing the open and tolerant values of British society. I know this is not a forum for this; however I felt compelled to respond after reading Mondo thoughts. Also noteworthy is the bulk of victims of the ISIS/Al Qaida and the likes are the Muslims themselves. Mondo it is not true only few Muslims are condemning this, all are!!! I do take exception to your comment take this a reply to your unfair comment that “Secretly, do all Muslim think the same way…?”
  7. I need to upgrade my battered tweed interior to leather, and wondering how easy is it to DIY with purchasing the kits, there are several companies in the US / Canada supplying kits, not neccassary any cheaper than getting it done by upholsterer here, but quality is not necessarily assured. If I do go done a DIY route, how easy / difficult is it to remove the door panels, dash board bits etc. Also removing the tweed from the seats, panels and gluing leather bits etc. Any tips and experiences good or bad will be appreciated.
  8. Thanks Yassa also. I just went to order the MEISTERR ZETA-S COILOVERS, there is an additional option for "Zeta-R Rose Joint Top Mount" for an extra £50. What is that? Excuse my ignorance.
  9. Hello Joely and other Zedders with Meisters coilovers, I am just about to order a set of Meisters, just a question how much harder is the ride of the Meisters compare to stock?
  10. Hello Dan, I picked up from one of your previous threads you have 10J Rota Grid at rear, I am looking at the same setup, how did your front and back fit? Did you have to do any camber adjustment or delete Hicas ? Also presumabily the arch roller is for that?
  11. I also went to see the Orange one, the pictures advertised were from 10 years ago, a total rust bucket, "so much for first to see will buy", should be "First Stevie Wonder type" will buy. Awful car, looked good in the pics I went with the intention of purchasing and converting it back to normal.
  12. Does it look retrofit if you use a Halo? How does the 99 Spec inserts look in chrome? Anyone with any examples.
  13. Does any know what is the size of the Halo / Angel Eyes required for the 99 Spec replica headlight insert? Any recommendations where I can get one? I would prefer LED type but may consider a Solid ring in white. I know the HALO/Angel eyes look good with the normal headlight inserts, how does it look with the 99-Spec headlight insert?
  14. "first name terms with your chiropractor" - LOL, I get the drift, thanks for your good advise.
  15. Si, You mentioned I will need some fender work to fit the 9.5 upfront, what kind of fender work, would the inner guard need removing and also fender rolling? Also would I need to roll the fender in back with 10J's. Also would I need camber adjustment also in which case would you recommend the following? http://www.driftworks.com/japspeed-nissan-200sx-s13-r32-300zx-rear-camber-arms.html http://www.driftworks.com/japspeed-nissan-300zx-r32-skyline-front-camber-arms.html Thanks for your good advise, to all the Zedders out there.
  16. Thanks Joely, Love the stance and alloys on your super sexy Z, what are they?
  17. Thanks for this Joely, silly question do the Meisterr still adequately lower the car by a inch or so?
  18. Would 18" J 10 with the correct ET fit the front? Anyone tried?
  19. I am looking to replace my suspension to make the Z sit a little lower without compromising too much on ride quality, it is mainly for road use only. Currently I looking at three options. In order of preference. 1) HSD Coilovers 2) TEIN Street Flex Coilover System 3) BC Racing Type BR Coilovers http://www.driftworks.com/hsd-coilovers-nissan-300zx-and-350z-z32-z33.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspension/tein/tein-street-flex-coilover-system-p-142.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspension/bc-racing/bc-racing-type-br-coilovers-free-shipping-p-5567.html Another alternative may be to replace just with lowering springs https://www.z1motorsports.com/suspension/tein/tein-tech-springs-z32-p-1236.html Any experience and advise will be appreciated.
  20. Thanks to Funkysi and Baz, both your alloys look gorgeous. Funkysi is right I guess it would depend on the style of the wheel.
  21. What is a ideal Alloy size. I am currently considering the Rota Grid's http://www.driftworks.com/rota-grid-drift-18-wheels.html but wondering is 9.5" front and 10" rear is being too ambitious. I was thinking ET 35 18" 10 wide for rear and 18" ET 20 9.5 for front. I do have upgraded brakes and expect this wheels would clear. Also the question about 19" work and how do they look? Any pics and suggestions will be appreciated. I do not mind rolling the arches and camber adjustment etc. I do not want the camber to be out. Intend to use HSD Coil overs. I am not fully decided on the Rota Grids and looking at other options.
  22. I know this one is an old post, but can we see any images of this amazing mod on the car. How does it look in the flesh? Also does it also have a halo ?
  23. There is nothing actually wrong with my HICAS, however the main issue is large wheels ET 30, 9.5 wide 18" I been told will hit the HICAS bar. Anything detrimental in removal of HICAS? From the comments above appear it is probably a good route.
  24. I'm looking to delete the HICAS on my TT 2+2, and comments on pro's con's, I have been advised I will need to delete to fit 18" 9.5's on the rear, and comments / advise will be appreciated. Any one with any comments on the HICAS eliminator from Driftworks. http://www.driftworks.com/driftworks-total-hicas-eliminator-kit-for-nissan.html
  25. Thanks all for the suggestions. I think dougal200 suggestion sounds like a good one, to use a internal ariel mounted maybe in the boot. How about an internal one mounted in the same place were the stock ariel is removed, therefore it is hidden? Are the internal ones any good? BTW: dougal200 love the alloys, what are they? and what size? Startthefish and dougal200 - Your deletion looking good!! I am now more certain I want to do it.
