  1. Well I bought the cleaner online last night. Was gonna head to a halfords or a car parts store for the air filter, there was too much choice online! Can't wait to get it sorted ready to enjoy the nicer weather!
  2. Ran that and it's the MAF! Flashed up clearly as that. Thanks guys! Owe you all one I'm confident I can sort the issue now, glad it wasn't anything severe. Parts ordered, awaiting delivery! Bulletproof engine!
  3. I have the little one in the morning while the missus sleeps from a night shift so no can do :-( I have watched a little vid on cleaning the mass air flow cleaner, and changing the filter. I have bought a bottle of cleaner, may give that a whirl and see I didn't quite understand how to interpret the flashing, I take it the numbers don't appear above the lights, is it the number of flashes?
  4. Yea, I'm Beccles. The car seems absolutely fine now, I'll still get it seen however. Ah I am free Monday afternoon. I wouldn't know the first thing to do unfortunately, would you? Would be ace if you were able to help!
  5. I have had that fear. Would anybody be able to recommend a garage for these motors near Lowestoft? Alternatively, I could go in and ask them to check the MAF and rectify if necessary.
  6. Thanks all. Sounds pretty promising that you're all going down similar lines. I'll try and see what I can do, I've got it booked in somewhere nearby, the guy mentioned on the phone the fault could take some searching for, mention coil pencils. If the issue were the MAF would it be a pricey problem? I live near Lowestoft in the east of England. That would be awesome if you're nearby. Just an update; drove the car home this evening (warmer evening) and it was totally fine.
  7. Hi all, My 93 N/A seems to have developed a problem. Since starting it yesterday (frosty morning) it has been unable to pass 2500rpm. It seems to chug and vibrate when the revs meet this point, I was able to drive it until the car heated up and then the problem seemed to have resolved. The same happened this morning. Car starts on the money every time. Before this the car has been bulletproof! Has anybody encountered this issue before or know what it could be related to? I shall be getting it looked at on Monday
