Having booked the other halves car in the local dealers for a gasket change and misfire cure 4 days ago to be told 3.5 hrs after leaving the car at the dealers today that they hadnt got the gasket and therefore hadnt bothered to strip the top end to investigate the misfire(even though they have the diagnostic gear)I had to threaten everything except World War Three just to get a promise that the car will partially have been rectified by the time I collect it at 4.45pm.If however I pick the car up again in the same state they WILL remember me! The whole idea of a Main dealer is that although you pay way over the odds you at least will have the problems sorted(big misconception) I had already replaced one gasket plus plugs so had already alleviated part of the problem-Vectra crap!:(

You all should realize that the only way to go to a bike race is on a bike!! No queuing- but when you have to stop in these temperatures its bad(sat down by 8.00am trackside ) Love my R1,love my zed.

Hi Eric, I have decided to look into the Wiseco setup but basically I have decided for a full engine rebuild,not that the engine is damaged or- done space shuttle miles-just that as I have decided to completely rebuild the car and engine,I am upgrading and looking to build as much reliability as possible(lmao)into the engine with pistons,rods,metal gaskets etc as using warmer than stock parts. I have already got turbos,intercoolers,induction and some control sorted but need to get all important internals sorted,not radically but practical and the car wont be everyday use! Cheers Stuart :D

The only other possible reason for value is that it doesnt matter that the car is nearly twelve years old and cost then was considered moderately priced, it still costs the same nearly to run now as it did then and it was also only sold in very small amounts in the UK.There arent to many people willing to spend large amounts of money on a car that is that old and never really achieved notoriety-combined with the fact that the car does like a large amount of mullah just to keep rolling ;)- :D

How many times have you been asked by people"what is it". I was shocked in the past to be asked the question and had to show people the steering wheel emblem before they believed me,a lot of this badge engineering rubbish (car is debadged). :(

It makes you think when all the physical punishment this guy took and he still kept getting back on again to fight again.Certain iconic figures in sport nowadays, give up for seemingly far less significant reasons.However after offing at Donnington last year it made me think about how much these guys have to endure and for him to be taken this way is never fair. I know this is may all be a bit deep but it just goes to show that you need to make the most of life in whatever you do,be it hobbies or work,just enjoy-- Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww sorry

:( Yeah I was choked to hear of his death this morning as only last year when he announced that he had cancer he said "this thing wont beat me" I like many others used to go and watch him in the Transatlantic Series and he always put on a brilliant show against the Yanks. Even though he moved to Aus,we still watched him play in the Classic Series still having fun.He was an icon to many including me!
