    The pipework comes from a pump on the diff, runs down the side of the fuel tank to the oil cooler located under the rear bumper, the diff contains a stat and pump when the oil in the diff gets too hot it is circulated through the cooler. Nothing to do with the fuel system at all bud, should be fine as long as you're not drifting ;-)
