hi mate, i had the same problem while driving my car gave a big jurk n would not move fast after that pulled ova opened my bonnet n cud hear a off tapping/knocking noise from the engine.revved the engine the noise went louder.called a mechanic ova n he said the same that the engine is finished.the still use to start up n everything but the noise was really bad so took it bak home n organised an engine rebuild for the car n had to drive my car to the garage with al the noise.on the way the my completely switched off. the engine gave up completely so had to get it towed.now its been over 2 months i aint been Zedding around.damn i do miss her but she is coming bak out hopefully this monday. anyway my point is due to my past experience u need a new engine.

me got the same problem.just got a rebuilt done reconditioned engine, new turbos n pipes and full service.i got 6months guarantee with it so am taking it back to the garage on monday.on idle blueish smoke lots of it but when moving it goes away.not just that it cuts out quite alot when a start moving off from idle.anyone know wat all this might be about???? thanks guys

talkin about tyres, my rear left tyre keeps on gettin bold every about 2-3 months whereas the right tyre is fine.i changed both rear tyres together about 3 months ago n now the left one is almost out but the right one is fine. now till where i can think the reason y this is happenin is because about 7-8 months ago when i was new to a Z im gonna be honest i lost the back and the left wheel hit a kerb quite hard.no visible damage as i got the alloys changed but its always the left tyre that keeps waring out.maybe the wishbone or something is bent on it.can anyone help me with wat i need to check rear left??i would be greatful. thanks guys

one of my mates had the same problem.his gearbox was busted.he had to get a new one

hi people.my top end seems to have given up.there is alot of engine rattle noise non stop especially wen revving.i found out after that my engine had an oil leak which must have drained my oil completely as there was nothing in there wen i checked as soon as the rattle started.i just wanted to know if there is any cure of it or does it mean that i need to get a whole new engine???i would be greatful. cheers guys.

after pressing the power button or keeping the car on hold there is a light saying what is on that switches on on the right of the steer ring.non of mine come on.what is that about.is it electrical?n coz the lights aint on non of them 2 are really working r they? another thing when i put off my override button all them of the lights (power,hold and O/D off) come on.that aint normal is it????????

hi people. my z got 2 exhausts as everyone might have. one of them gives out alot of greyish smoke the left one. the right one is fine. till where i know bout zs i think its my 1st turbo which might be leaking or something.anyone know what it might be? cheers guys
