  2. Snapped drive shaft - oops! Alternator Starter motor 2x batteries Ignition harness Oil leak from rocker cover gaskets All part n parcel or TVR ownership i guess ;) I saw it advertised through CWC but don't think i will go as part of that
  3. I remember you getting KIRBZ old slicktop, really love it, cracking Z. Don't think i will be able to make that, covering holidays so working all hours. Will be at the classic show at Dalemain nr Penrith when ever that is though. Think i have finally got the Griff's starting problems out of the way (fingers crossed!)
  4. Nice to see some things don't change!
  5. Well? Any funny goings on? Missed you guys :cool3:
  6. Erm, she is certainly talented!
  7. I agree with you there Si, i keep looking at them. A nice CL600 bi-turbo would most certainly do the job!
  8. I use to like brakedusts matt black 300.Thought it looked ace!
  9. I was sober when i looked at that, must resort to getting pissed more often when looking at cars! I really do like it though. a decent engine conversion and i reckon it would be ace!
  10. I'm tempted but the Griff is an on going andiam sure my parents would have a fit if i dropped off some rusty old fiat on their drive! Would love a project like that though, drop a decent engine in, type R on 20VT possibly...
  11. Fiat X1/9 after seeing this I think it looks stunning.
  12. My old Z http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=wilmslow&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=12.605358,39.726563&ie=UTF8&ll=53.475992,-2.228165&spn=0.024775,0.077591&t=h&z=14&layer=c&cbll=53.475925,-2.228474&panoid=zlzR3DQroUYKbGlFkLxJSg&cbp=12,333.307408236261,,0,14.467426997183633
  13. Filled her up and off we went. From Carlisle up into Dumfries & Galloway. Faultless drive, almost deserted roads and every car we were behind either pulled out of the TVR lane or there was a good clean overtake. Little kids pointed and waved, teenage yobbos shouted "cool car mate" and old people gave the thumbs up. Makes every hiccup worthwhile. Such an amazing car and it is such a buzz being able to plant the loud pedal firmly down on some great roads. Some pics, not the best as were taken on phone in bad light.
  14. Was a few years ago that i used him mind. Things must have changed.
  15. I would be pretty tempted to turn up on his doorstep and ask some very direct questions face to face. He always seemed a decent chap but was overloaded with work. No excuses though.
  16. No idea on tuning potential, bought that for MrsMagpie! quite happy with standard performance, does have an after market exhaust which sounds rather tasty though. Have a tuned TVR Griffith for fun so its more style than performance i like from the Alfa.
  17. We have the 3.0v6 GTV and its a cracker. Black with tan leather and the 17" teledials. Such a class looking car
  18. The sheeps heed in dunnington is a cool little pub with a skittles alley in the back, well worth a couple of hours! Spelling might be a little off...lol
  19. Why not? I really like Edinburgh, had 2 good stag do's there. Agreed on big groups though. we had to split half way through the night and meet up later. Some great pubs and clubs and lots of sexy scotish lassies :)
  20. No offence intended but... Munny, i detest that rear bumper.
  21. 240Z rear roofline and quarter? Never seen it before tonight.
  22. I know i am just a young pup compared to some but...
  23. Holy F**K, thats a mess!
