I'm back again after putting my car on Ebay, someone promising to buy it, messing me about, and then it falling through (This time I have paid for membership so hopefully the moderators will be a bit more happy).
Selling my Pearlescent white 1995 Nissan 300ZX Manual Twin Turbo for spares or repairs after an unfortunate collision which as you can see from the photos, has left the car badly damaged and written off as a Cat C by the insurance.
The main damage is at the point of impact which is the left rear of the vehicle. The body shell is crumpled and damaged and the wheel took a lot of the impact and so most of the corner components such as suspension, drive shaft, top/bottom arms are either damaged or just snapped. There is also more minor damage to the front left corner as well including a broken steering arm. Other than that I think that the only other damage is to the front right wing which is dented, the left rear passenger window which is smashed and front/rear bumpers.
Luckily everything in the engine bay is undamaged including the original twin turbo engine and manual gearbox which have only seen 77,000 miles, being a 1995 model the engine is also one of the most sought after because it is one of the last that had the variable valve timing, this was dropped in 1996 reducing the standard power from 300 to 280bhp. Before the crash this car was in absolutely immaculate condition inside and out (which makes the incident even more sad), including the underside which is completely rust free because since being imported over 10 years ago, it has only had 1 other owner who kept it garaged and only used it occasionally on dry weekends.
The car is completely standard except the following modifications (some of which were extremely expensive)-
- HKS Super Drager stainless steel exhaust system.
- Apexi Intake.
- Twin dump Valves (I also have the original re-circ. valves).
- Willwood custom big brake disc and calliper upgrade on front (Have receipt for nearly £1500).
- Analogue Turbo Boost Gauge
- Greddy Profec E-01 Turbo Boost Controller with digital readout (I have the original box with contents).
- Greddy E-management ECU Manager (I have the original box with contents).
- 18" Genuine BBS Le Mans Gold/Silver Alloy Wheels.
- Viper Thatcham alarm/imobiliser with proximity sensors and hand held remote/pager with digital screen.
Between the intake, exhaust and uprated boost to 13.5psi the car was running somewhere around the region of 400bhp. have stacks of paperwork such as receipts for recent new clutch and timing belt, modifications, import history, proof of mileage, dyno. printout, service history, MOT's etc.
I would rather break the car and sell the bits because I'm sure I could make more money that way but I simply don't have the time or facilities to do so, for this reason I'm selling the vehicle as a whole. The car is located near Banbury in Oxfordshire and isn't drivable/doesn't roll, buyer responsible for loading/transportation after purchase. Cash on collection, I'd like to think that between the value of the engine, gearbox, undamaged panels and modifications that car is worth £1500 but you guys probably know a lot more about Z's than I do and I could be wrong.
If you're interested, would like to view the car or would like to see more photos please contact me on here or on my mobile 07858502368.
Thanks for looking.
