  1. WOW.... So, not such good news. I got a mechanic mate to go down to the car where it is stored. I cant do it because I live in Spain. I asked him to give it a general looking over. Take it for a spin etc. etc. BAD NEWS.... Bearing in mind its been sat for the best part of the year. He started in and the car started hemorrhaging fluids!!! so, it looks like because I now have a leak on my power steering cooling pipe behind the front bumper. The slave cylinder has started leaking..... but worst of all.... Its now kicking out blue smoke!! Which at a guess is probably a turbo seal.... F#@K. He has also noticed that the sill is in need of work on the. So the breaks are now the least of my f'ing worries. So, any on have any ideas other that finding a new owner???
  2. Also, how can I tell what breaks are on the front? http://www.mtecbrakes.com is this the chap?
  3. Wow, thanks. I will get in touch with mtec. Forgive my total ignorance, but are all discs cast and machined?!?!? And what do you think as far as pads go? Stick with the EBC red or yellow stuff? Cheers, thanks for your help.
  4. Your 100% correct. My mistake. They are 4 pot callipers.... maybe from the GTR V-spec R32. If Im totally honest I dont know if they are R32,R33 or R34 breaks on the front. I do know that the discs are definitely 324mm. And all is standard 300ZXTT on the back....
  5. I have a '92 TT. It currently has standard rear discs and the 324mm R32 discs/2pot callipers up front, not sure if it makes a difference to you but it has BBS LeMan 18" wheels. I definately need to replace the discs up front and pads on the back, so obviously I might as well replace all discs and pads. I'm not lucky enough to be made of money, but I also want to stop!! And as we all know these cars are pretty quick. So I've been doing some looking around and it seems the common recommended pads are the EBC yellow stuff which are track/drift pads. And then grooved front discs, and standard rear discs!!! I cant afford the Brembo setup... If I put performance pads on standard disc will it just eat away or overheat the discs?? Any help/advice or recommendations for what breaks and pads i should look in to getting, or what you guys use and what circumstances you use them for would be helpful. And if you know of any where that does a good and fair priced sets.... The car is used for casual driving, sometime ever so slightly controlled aggressive driving!! Not for track or drifting. Cheers
  6. How do I do that? - - - Updated - - - Found it, no worries.
  7. Ahhhhh, it all becomes clear. Cheers buddy.
  8. Tried to put up a 'post' with the intentions of selling my car. It got shut down within 45 seconds. Am I not allowed to try and sell my car on the forum? If I am, how the hell do I do it. do I have to add some sort of special 'Post Icon', or a 'Tag'!!!
