My uncle had a two & Half litre injected Beetle lump years ago bought most of the parts for internals and block etc from "UVA" used to be in Northampton somewhere. Im sure they even did a 3.0 block & Crank etc (Dont qoute me) Im sure i read about this in Volksworld magazine in the early 90's ?

Always liked the Zed, but always liked Yanks and Hot rods more so never bought one until last year when i just about had enough of spending all my spare time and money constantly rooting around in grease and oil to keep on top of the jobs. So thought Fook it by something fast reliable that i could use everyday if i wanted :rofl: In hindsight the Zed is no different to my other cars needs TLC all the time and fuel bill is horrible compared to my yank !! Still its fast comfortable and fun in the sun with the roof off, and you dont run the risk of braking down everytime you travel any significant distance ! :hyper:

:bow: Same thing here i can have what i want within reason if it makes me happy. BUT she has had new kitchen new bathroom new carpet in whole house new Central heating boiler last week £2500 in itself ! Oh and now the house is for sale as we need a Bigger house. Apparently a three bed detached in a quite Suffolk village with River views is not really Big enough and we need more space !! Still my £3500 car keeps me happy our £15 k outlay is just simply not enough !! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal And the best bit is my cars in bits in the garage waiting for me to finish all the little jobs i am doing over the winter months on it, As ive been to busy not finishing the Kitchen, Bathroom, etc etc quick enough ! oh and i work 6 days a week 8.00- 600pm.
