  1. This is exactly where the 'liquid' is droping from! Seems like that this is the only 'problem'. Most probably is not my heater matrix. It has been replaced one and a half year ago. Thank you.
  2. Cheers mate! I hope that it is not engine oil or anything else. It was that 'oil colour' on the wet surface that really worried me.
  3. Old post, but I have a further question. I noticed this afternoon drops of a 'liquid' underneath the car, while having the heater on. However, it continued droping it even after turning off the heater (half an hour later and it was still droping). What worries me the most is the fact that on a wet surface it seems like drops of oil! Is it simply water or oil and has nothing to do with the air condition? Cheers.
  4. Hi there, That was me going to Z-Tech to fix my heater matrix, as it had failed. Fortunately, Ryan did a good job (as usual) and everything is ok now.
  5. Hi to everybody! I am pretty sure that I need an expensive tv...haha ;) See you around mate! !
  6. Hi there, Long time since I've been to the forum. That was me going to Clacton. I flashed you as well, but probably I was not quick enough to see me. :)
  7. Nice to hear that the number of Zs in Colchester is increasing...See you around soon!
  8. I could not notice if it had black wheels. However, now I know that the one with black wheels is yours. See you around mate...I will flash next time I see you.
  9. Hi mate! I have been a few times in Clacton (usually parked on Marine Parade) but have not seen yours. However, I have seen another black Z passing from Tescos roundabout at Clacton. Flashed him, but probably he did not notice...
  10. Hi mate! This my car. Nice to hear about other Zs being around Colchester.
  11. Cheers mate! Glad to see helpful people on the site! :)
  12. Cheers mate! Hopefully, it will for me as well! Thank you!
  13. second reply: very nice find! Cheers mate! Much appreciated! ;)
  14. Just purchased a tom tom One. There is a free download for safety cameras at: pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php Anybody knows if it will work with the tom tom One or is it only for the Go 300/500/700 models? Thanks!
  15. It dropped from 100-105 degrees celcius (parked, after hard driving with boost controller set at 1.0 bar) to 85-95 degrees celcius (in similar conditions- morris oil). Quite a difference! Sorry for the delay in replying.
  16. I just thought that a 10-15 degrees (Celcius) reduction in oil temperature is a good thing for the engine. That's all.
  17. I am aware of the fact that the oil topic has been discussed extensively in the past. However, I would like add some data coming through my personal experience (I am just a 300zx owner and not a mechanic with extensive technical knowledge). Last thing I want to do is to start a debate again. Story: 10-15 degrees (Celcius) reduction in oil temperature by changing oil. Went from Castrol RS 10w-60 to Morris Multilife competition 10w-50 fully synthetic. Weather conditions and style of driving were the same. P.S. The engine has done 8000 miles after an engine rebuild (still using the old tubs and no forged parts). Boost is set at 1.0 bar.

  19. Cheers mate! I will have a look at previous threads for 'H3C' as mine is a jdm model.
  20. Does anyone know if the Philips Blue Vision Bulbs (type H3, 12V/55W) will fit on a Z? Thanks for your help.
  21. This is my first post to the forum. Please excuse my lack of technical knowledge (and my English). Problem: I have a tt with the following mods: hks evc5 boost controller, Blitz Sonic induction kit, Nisstech reprogrammed ecu, Nisstech De-cat 3.5 inches exhaust system. A few days ago I changed the Nisstech back boxes and put Cobra instead (possibly allowing greater gas flow). However, since then I can hear a weird noise that sounds very much like detonation. It is really difficult to understand if it comes from the engine bay or from the back boxes (due to the loud exhaust). Is it possible that it can detonate just because of changing the back boxes? I had absolutely no detonation-like sounds with the Nisstech back boxes. The noise occurs even at 0.5 bar of boost. Same noise at 0.8 and 1.0 bar. Thanks for your help!
