  1. I'm currently in the process of fitting the same manifolds to my own Z after the old gaskets had blown. I also have the AMS 3" divorced downpipes & test pipes. Having previously gone through the awful process of pulling the turbos with the engine in place, I can tell you first hand that the easiest and quickest way to do it would be pulling the engine. it look me and a friend around 4/5 hours to pull my engine out just in my garage. You will have to smash the drivers side downpipe with a hammer though so it will clear the steering column!
  2. Hi guys! I've been after a Momo D36 steering wheel for quite a while and keep missing out on them every time one comes up for sale. There's one on eBay currently but there's no way I'd pay the price they're asking (£250 if you were wondering). If anyone happens to have one laying around, for sale, or that they're not too attached to and would like to sell me, please let me know! The same wheel was sold a few weeks ago by Funkysi within 15 minutes for £35 to Hellraiser (Jammy Barstuard)! Speaking of which, if you want a quick profit on that wheel and you're not too attached, get in touch! I'd be more than happy to pay up to and around the £100 mark depending on condition. The wheel in question: Cheers, Mike!
  3. Providing all goes well and my cars running and finished by then (should be I hope) count me in!
  4. Hi guys! Just wondering if anyone has any form of big brake kit for sale? The cars planned to be around the 500bhp mark and with 19" wheels, the standard brakes will get a little lost. I was looking at using Evo calipers with adapter brackets from Aus or designed myself, using the Evo X 350mm disks but I'd still end up paying around £750 all in to do that, which is a lot for second hand brakes (or at least calipers). I've also been looking at new BBK's, although they're most than I'd like to spend. These being: Ksport 356mm 8 pots for £1026, D2 356mm 6 pots for £1140 and PB-8 380mm 8 pots for £1300. The Akebono 14" (356mm) 4 pots are also an option, available from Concept Z for around £600. Any advice/information is welcomed! However, if anyone's breaking a car with big brakes or has a kit available in good condition, for a decent price, let me know! Trying to keep cost down as much as possible due to the build costing more than originally planned (as with all) but skimping on brakes isn't particularly an option either way. Cheers, Mike!
