  8. PERL won't talk to databases whereas php will
  9. Nope i'll teach you how to create a self updating website from scratch with an admin section :D

  14. Cheers matey :) They're all a bit old hat now i think. I'm pushing forward with making more attractive sites with a more corporate feel to them. Clearwater Recruitment is getting close designwise to what i should be doing. Progrind should look pretty good by tomorrow, just sorting out the back end before finishing off the ajax front end.
  15. He is very impatient too :D lol
  16. I feel completely out-classed at the moment :D Oh well, when i get a spare minute to do my own site i'll sort it out :D

  20. These are all the old ones, i'm rewriting my new ones in AJAX and PHP at the moment and evolving the administration functions. Check http://www.progrind.co.uk out in the next 24 hours and you'll see how it all slots together. The later ones are the more professional ones: http://www.shelden-healthcare.com/ http://www.stockleys-store.co.uk/ http://www.pearlperfect.com/ http://www.evergreen-interiors.co.uk/ http://www.country-ceramics.co.uk/ http://www.classicminiinteriors.com/ http://www.arpplastics.com/ http://www.sunhealthcare.co.uk/ http://www.clearwater-recruitment.co.uk/
  21. lol, no i did realise that matey :D hehe
  22. I remember when Spaced came out, the first season, and i wasn't overly won over by the first episode but it ended up being a fantastic comedy series just a pity it didn't have a 3rd series. Its always hard to introduce new characters, the first episode's a nightmare to write. black books is a good example, written by the guys who wrote father ted (what a series to live up to). once you get used to having different characters you grow to love them and their comedy shines through. I think coogan's writing will shine through and we'll grow to love saxondale :D
  23. Well you know i do for a start :D
