Mate from owning 7 of them get yourself a cheap granada scorpio. Full spec in mint condition is only going to cost you 500, go for the DOHC 2.0 not the 16v and you'll have a comfortable, reliable, cheap, spacey cruiser with heated seats and all the trimmings with a boot the size of the tardis. I got mine fully comp insured for 275 a few years ago so should be peanuts for you too
