  1. i've used a 2.2k resistor in place of resistor 10 on the back of the speedo. Dead easy, took about ten mins to remove the speedo, about another 20 mins to remove and refit the new resistor. Use a small piece of black tape over the 'k' on the km/ph then fit the cover together. Before you fit it all together make sure you make a hole with a drill/soldering iron over the right hand variable resistor (as you're facing the front), insert a small screwdriver in throughthe top and take it for a test drive, i followed my dad and he increased his speed by 10mph then flashed his brake lights and i adjusted accordingly. Dead easy :) If you need any more help just have a search for converting speedo :)
  2. On a serious note, don't get too serious too fast, let her make the moves if you can. I was quite lucky, went on a date this week, she bought me the first round in because she was late, kissed me rather than the other way round and then texted to ask whether i was free this weekend (sorry eileen hadn't told you till i was 100% sure hehe) If she's asked you round then sounds like you've got a good chance bud, good luck! :D
  3. Happy birthday fella :duffer:

  8. What's left of the boot? Like the colour though :)
  9. 20k ohms is it for 180mph? The guy in the shop only had 22k ohm, will that do? I know there's a certain amount of adjustability but will it be enough with 22k ohms in. If not i'll stick two ten k ohms in series but thought i'd ask before i peed about too much with it :) Mental note: 4500rpm in 2nd gear locked out is 55mph ;)
