Even he was gobsmacked with how he new his stuff (obviously Andy specialised in his zeds, and his white was one stunning at santapod). Hi b19rks one of few I remember lol
  3. looking to get back in contact with an old friend/ zed machanic who worked on my cars? is he still on here ? Seem to remember him moving from Leyland after meeting his Mrs? I would like to be back in touch. Name = Andyduff (I think) Regards
  4. Has anyone on this site had this car previously? Ive been told the last owner has looked after this car for 16 years, and would have thought they would be or have been on here? If not this is the car im looking to buy, its a uk car exterior looks a little worn, if anyone who could check the compression and ECU for faults ie on conzult (its in Maidenhead) give me a price before I take my journey. Regards

  6. Loan isnt an option TBH. Ive looked all over the net for classic warranties.... Seems a little wierd that they have classic car finance but you need a warranty when they dont provide warranties for classic car???
  7. Does anyone know whether you can purchase a classic car warranty, ive found a zed I think. However, to get my finance I need the car to have a warranty!! The company wont give the car a warranty due to the age of the car. thnx in advance
  8. I copied and pasted this to show, not sure why it says guest sure I was a member when I posted this? lots of threads and posts on the site from me over the years? My membership was when I was in cheadle, stockport? Hope this helps atc300zx Guest 21st February 2008, 19:31 CAN THIS BE MADE INTO A STICKY! Well heres the small print firstly... you need to be over 25, have another car (main car), zed needs to be 15 yo or older, and a limit of 8000 miles per year. Right you get fully comp for approx £180, an agreed payout value, if you do less than 8000 miles for the first 1000 miles less you get 100 pound back!! and yes they are good!! they payed me out for when my car got stolen back in August (£3900 - agreed value was £4000 Taken 100 of me for the excess) They are called Lynbrook Insurance and can be contacted on 0845 1304662 A little pay back for all the tech help ive had on this site. Thanks
  9. Ive also forgotten how I start a thread even though I did one earlier (must have fell lucky) I cant for the life of me find the link and im in a bit of a rush for some info on getting a private classic warranty for a car im looking at. Can someone help Thnx
