Thanks guys, thought the swb would be a rare beast. z32bolt, thanks for the good bit of technical advice, so with 500+ the crank is at the upper end of what it can take and it might be time to go billet.

Hi all, I'm considering coming over to 300zx fold and ideally would be after a nicely powered (450bhp +) swb tt, not to bothered about paint work as long as it's not rusty, and a transistor radio will also be ok instead of a shake the back window out boom box. Running that amount of hp, would everyone say a built engine is needed?
