Ah gutted we missed you Ian! There were a couple of Skyline's there, a black and a silver one and it was the silver we saw. Wow, that Jag fell waaaaay short of what they were hoping! The event in Feb sounds great! Dare I ask how you know these 'ballers? I take it if they have Lambos they're not on your local's 5 a side ;) Please do keep me informed of dates as it sounds like a great day and I'd like to get my 350 dyno'd again as I'm a bit suspicious the figures I got last time were a bit generous so want a comparison. Mandy - I can vouch for Dicky when he says he felt awful for losing you and I felt bad too when I found out we'd left without you. Despite the traffic it was still a fun night and I'd certainly do it again next year :) S.

Sam and I got there about 3.30 and stayed for about an hour....during that time there was a Skyline that got 430bhp I think but the last car of the day, which we didn't stay for as had to get back, was a Rybrook Jag (XKR I think but I get muddled with my jag models) which allegedly was pushing 700bhp. If they do another charity event next year I'd certainly go :) S.

Ian, I'll share this on the 350z site as I think it's for a great cause :) If I stay over in Blackpool on the Saturday I'll try and call into this event...don't know which Zed I'll be in yet so don't know if I'd try and get dyno'd...I will if I'm in the 350z as I suspect the last time I was on a rolling road the garage were being overly generous in their numbers (312hp) and interested to see what another companies readings show. Blimey! do the club members only concern themselves with what to fill their stomachs with? If I wanted to just go for the burgers I'd go to Maccy D's drive thru! I've left it a bit last minute for this one but hoping to come along anyway so you might get a Z33 interloper for a bit sorry! But please save me a burger else I'll have a tantrum and cancel my subscription ;) S.

Thanks for being accommodating to the 350z interloper and many thanks to Ian Greenfield for giving it a good polish for me. Will get my bucket and sponge out before the next meet ;) And was nice meeting you Rich after having seen your zed at Lee's a few times it's always good to put a face to the owner :) I thought it was rather a good show, especially if it was the first year they've been running it (I wasn't aware of that 'til reading this thread). A catering van or 2 and less officious supervisors would make for a great show next year :thumbup1: S.
