  1. Forgot to say, the inner edge of the exhaust tips is beveled or angled, you can see it in the clean photo of mine AndrewG posted. It does however get filthy quickly so just looks like a black hole in photos generally.
  2. Good spot! Mine is secured in each corner but is done much cleaner, see below. I wouldn't be surprised though if there was improvements or updates during its production life, there certainly was with the veilside systems (I've seen a couple variations) & they both look to have been made by the same supplier, the H pipes are identical bar a couple of small braces. I can't remember if the Abflug had it but the Veilside had a laser etched model number on the H pipe. My Abflug also has a small plaque under the drivers side muffler with the brand & type of exhaust, model no. & batch no. The colour is the standard AH3 Cherry Red Pearl, just well polished! Thanks for the kind words all. cheers!
  3. Nah mines the same, just a single spot weld in each corner
  4. That one looks correct, details are all the same as mine & has the engraved plaques on the outer tips. That's very expensive though, hence why it's been for sale for over 6 months! Keep your eyes open , they do come up cheaper. There's a full turbo back veilside system on there at the moment (front pipes are pretty rare, I've got those too) for a very good starting bid.
  5. Thanks very much guys, I'm very pleased with the result. Exhaust is an Abflug Power Superior, had a veilside evolution previously but just love the quad tips!
  6. Has been a very (very) long process with life getting in the way but I finally finished my custom one off wing this week! From this: To this: All hand made & everything except the painting done by me. Very happy to have it done!
  7. D2 are just your standard budget coilovers out of Taiwan like K-sport, etc. Certainly here in Australia UAS stopped selling them years back due to quality issues, they're possibly better now but still a risk.
  8. There's plenty of imported Japanese TT's here but definitely only the 2+2 NA's sold locally. Perhaps canada did a 260km/h TT option then
  9. Australian spec zeds (all NA 2+2 targa's) came with 260km/h speedo's or "clocks" So if your's don't have a boost gauge & look oem then they'll be from down here
  10. Good work there but these are fairly easy to find, would it not be worth just buying a genuine one? I searched "impul" on yahoo auctions & these 3 were in the first 2 pages. http://page17.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v475770963 http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b231828856 http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j408952623 Great zed to have though, congrats
  11. Those are actually SPC toe rods, SPL looks like this & are roughly 4 times the price Loving the alpha omega brake brackets, have you got all that fitted up yet? cheers, Tim
  12. Oh you mean the twinz ripoffs that are even using the twinz photos to promote them? yeah, looks real nice...
  13. winfactory / driven authority
  14. definately not tommy kaira as that one sits quite low to the hatch, believe this is actually a bomex clicky
  15. There's one on yahoo auctions japan at the moment, would need to organise purchase/shipping with an agent though. clicky
