Yeh that's a good idea Ian. Be handy for anyone coming from Manchester and those travelling down the m6. Lymm services is junction 9 of the m56, & junction 20 of the m6.

For anyone wanting to join the convoy to JAE on the saturday morning, we'll be setting off from the wirral, not sure of a time yet, & taking the m53, m56, & then the m6. If you want to meet us along the way we can make a few stop offs. so if you can write what motorway services you want to join us at we can work it into the journey & let you know a time we'll be getting there for. Be great to get as many Zeds in convoy as possible & really promote both the car & the club!

Yeh no problem I'll do that. Maybe look at a few stop offs along the way for others to join up with us.

  12. Looking good mate! You got a front bumper yet?
  13. Got quite a few things off them, great service.
  14. The Aldi ones are powder extinguishers. Got a blue label on it and says for liquid and electrical fires.
  15. Door cards fitted. Sprayed my wing mirrors black and refitted them. Also resprayed the scuttle panels. Took off the windscreen wiper arms to respray them but ran out of paint.
  16. I'm gonna have to add this to my long list of jobs.
  17. Nice work Keith. What did you use to clean it?
  18. Got myself a car fire extinguisher from Aldi today, only £9. Well worth having just incase.
  19. Just finished refitting the door card. It's now a nice car to be sat in with the old musty interior replaced and a CD player fitted. I love the new little features like the chrome door handles and arm rests.
  20. It's quite easy to do it, it's the corners that are the hardest part. Think you need a sowing machine to get them perfect but I just folded the edges over. Tried to do it where you wouldn't notice them. The part under the steering wheel is the hardest. Gotta do that bit again. Will put some pictures up later of it all done. I did fit it all back together yesterday but forgot to connect the wing mirror on the passenger side so got to take the door card off again.
  21. Haha, I'll probably add a picture to the original thread of it all finished later . I dont mind having a go at doing yours ian. Wait until you see it up close though. Much better than the tweed.
  22. The material is alcantara. Got it on eBay along with a tin of upholstery adhesive. Really strong stuff so its not gona lift in the heat. This is what the rest looks like.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166974-my-new-interior&highlight= Did it ages ago but never had time to do the door cards. Gona do some panels again but really pleased with how it looks for now. You'll have to put some pics of yours up with the seats back in Ian. Red interiors must be the fashion at the moment.
  23. Retrimed my door cards so the interior is now all done. Just gotta fit the arm rest and will refit the cards tomorrow. Then gonna put her on the ramps and work out how to fit a speed sensor.
  24. Wired up my illuminated panel, fitted chrome door handles and resprayed the scuttle panels. Looks a good job considering I was a bit hungover. Big thanks to Phutumsch for doing the panel. Great job!
  25. I know the car you mean, I had a similar one in blue with half leather half blue suede seats, really nice to look at but crap 1.8 engine.
