Had the same one Andy & it failed after 8 months. Got halfords to replace it but still gonna buy a new one soon as I don't trust it.

1990 TT manual. Back from the dead.

It's got z1 FUCA's & aftermarket front tension rods. They didn't make much difference to the ride quality. My tyres have a few flat spots too so they won't help.

Lee Dent is fitting my coilovers in a few weeks, then it's new tyres & alignment so will let you know what it's like after that.

It's got lowered springs & aftermarket shocks. It has various poly bushed parts on the suspension. I'm not sure exactly what they are as they were already fitted when I bought the car. I do remember driving the car before lowering it & the ride was fine but that was on 16" wheels & stock shocks & springs. I'm not looking for a really smooth ride like a new car, just don't want to feel every little bump in the road.

My zed currently has a crashy ride. I'm hoping with the new coilovers & z1 FUCA's it will help make the ride more comfortable. If it doesn't then I'm back to square one, minus nearly £1000.

Got some good professional pictures of the zed on Sunday at the meet.

The ride on my zed is pretty harsh, it currently has lowering springs, so I've just ordered new Meister zetaCRD coilovers. Hoping they help with the ride quality.

Adapted the uk dummy side lights to fit indicators & side lights. Just need to tint the fogs now. Went for a drive as the sun is out.

Nice offer Rich. I'm not surprised your disheartened Si but you've done too much work to let her go now. Im sure you'd be able to sell them for a decent price even in their current condition & look for a new set. I know you shouldn't have to be considering selling them, the other option is try to get your money back. If it was me I'd drive back to the guy with my biggest ugliest mate in the passenger seat, & show him how bad they are & if he doesn't budge mention taking legal action again. He'll be hoping you just disappear.
