hiya, i know how you feel, but it makes it difficult , martyn is a really nice guy, and im told a genius with the spanners, also i get the impression his business partner left him in the smelly stuff as well but i dont know all the ins and outs, it would be so much easier if he was a right toss-r but he is not, i guess whats needed is to find out who has cars with him and try between all of us and martyn agree which maybe are at the top of the list, sounds crazy but i guess all of us are hassling him daily -you get the picture.....if he can only spend small timea week.....maybe better we all know whos car is in the kew 1st etc etc, this might make life easier for martyn as well and this way maybe it would work for all concerned......i dunno crazy idea...but martyn is a good guy and i know does not want his reputation tarnished but at the same time after 18months for you and 15 months for me i want my car back....mad idea or worth a go,,,,what do you reckon ?....carl

blimey i thought i was the person waiting the longest martyns had my car since june 2006... but you beat that record...have you spoken to him in the last few days ? carl

hiya, my car is with martyn in lincolnshire, have you managed to speak to him in the last couple of weeks, ive had no joy, im wondering if he is on holiday? wd 40 will sort that squeak problem out !! carl

cheers guys....appreciate the advise...ill get a set of shockers oderded off jeff at zed world...as they are only 70squid a pair...that would wipe out one potential problem...and it looks like i need to get another set of alloys. i have spoken to mark at zen garage...so hopefully he will have an idea or2 as well....looks like the heater matrix valve could be the fault as after speaking with jeff , he told me to check the 2 pipes going into the bulkhead. it would seem only 1 of them is getting hot...(mark another job for you im afraid as i havent the knowledge to takcle this one )...ill keep me eyes peeled for a set of alloys.........thanks everyone.....

jiya phil thanks for the info...i moved up here from basingstoke in 2000 but i bet not a lot has chnged...except for more raf personel since the eurofighter arrived last year...i live in mareham le fen just outside but work in coningsby...not a bad place..if you like tractors....cheers mate ill email mark at zen garage....

i know what button you mean...no its not the lock button on the drivers side. the water is getting to temp...guage goes to normal and i have tried to bleed any air out the systems as well...but there seems to be no air pockets. the car came with the wheels, so i suppose if i could borrow or get a very very cheap set of std wheels to put on and try this would rule out or in, the problem. im deperate to find somewhere/someone who knows these cars and can fix this problem...who is not 100 miles away.....love the car....but patience is almost gone now..... thanks for your advise

i have pushed down on the back end and it seems ok but saying that without having new shockers fitted i gues i wont know.... thanks for your advise....can a local garage fit the shockers, as where i live if it aint a john deer tractor...no one wants to know

i have a 1990 import tt auto which im having a love hate relationship. it is fitted with a set of bk146 wheels...215/45 17 on the front and 235/45/17 on the rear, bk racing have told me that the rear rim is only 7" and with the 235 tyre fitted is wrong...what are the correct size wheels...as the handling on the car is appaling. on a smooth road every is ok, but hit any bump or ripple and the car feels like its moving sideways (which it is )....i have replaced the hicas steering arms which improved things but still its bad. i have had the 4ws alignment set up also.....could the wheels be the problem...as i dont want to buy new ones and find out that there are not the cause. also the heater does not work, since my local garage replaced the radiator,and they dont want to know, and now the passenger electric window has packed up, but im advised power is getting to it. does anybody know anyone near ish to where i live conningsby lincolnshire (20 miles south of lincoln) who knows these cars and could restore my faith in these cars and fix this for me.....help! desperate tt owner...carl
