Took the 300 out for its weekly spin and in the course of 10 minutes and about 15 miles round the houses trip I was challenged by 4 cars for a race. 3.0 S type. 2.0 Honda prelude. Sri vectra and a G reg BMW 3 series. Why do they bother? Do they just want to see how much faster my car is or do they really belive they might have a chance? I dont do the big head thing as it temps fate I am just proud of my ownership and I spose I do show off now and again but I didnt even bother with this little lot today. Anyway as you might imagine the smile is again broad across my face :)

4 Stud. I think the 2.0 ltr and above are all 5? The rims on my Volvo are nicer. But with things at work getting rather tight and we are losing shifts hand over foot I have to cut back and going from 20 - 25 MPG to 30 - 35 is going to help a lot. Plus the insurance will be greatly reduced. But it does drive well. Obviously not built for speed but it is comfy. I would liked to keep the volvo but hey needs must.

With my 300ZX on the drive I have no Jones to keep up with. I think its me that sets the standard around here mate.... :) They are nice wheels Si. :bow: They would deffo look nicer on my vectra.

Graham. I got them from FleaBay. From the same bloke. Si. I do agree but they are better than the wheel trims and my mate had them lying around so they had to be put on. I think a set of plain 5 spokes would look nicer. But yes! all in all I wanted economy and I went to Chester and back in it 240 miles (ISH) round trip £30 petrol from the red and still got a quarter tank left :) Keeping it at around 80MPH. :) Job done.

I have just got a new daily drive. Vectra 1.8i LS Auto. Nice smooth and economical car and nice little looker too. The Volvo is on Ebay. Its covered 81K with all the service history and bills. I got this and another 1.6 Veccy LS Hatch for my son £1500 for the both. :duffer: :)

I agree that he deseves a slap but then you will be in the wrong (in the eyes of the law) this will then make you the offender. I would go with Daves idea. Go to the police report he's threats and also get a video camera fitted. tell the police about the camera and they should think you are serious. Prevention is better than cure mate.
