  1. thats what i said so i did mine correct but was told by many people and a nissan machanic i should have relocated it but i didn't listen and did the full job. saying that my friends det sensor on his subaru was on a bracket coming of the outlet manifold odd place that
  2. try now i think its fixed
  3. you could relocate the sensor this is easier than replacing the sensor as this is a hell of a job as i know as i did it and spent a fortune on gaskets and det sensor and i wished i relocated instead if . this link takes you through how to do it http://www.angelfire.com/geek/vg30dett/DSR/DetSenRel01.html
  4. its fact titties aren't reliable alot of problems with them, from they just spin on you at high speeds to engine failure as which mag said they are poor for reliability

  6. thanks i'll wait then
  7. just wondered is that you're zed on you're replies you have the same spoiler i want on mine and just wondered about fiting it, does it fit in the holes left by removing the stock spoiler or do you have to drill the car if so was it hard to do i'm buying mine from the zed centre thanks for you time
  8. been looking at my gearbox i've taken out of my car i think it might be a recon when removing the box the torque convetor and flywheel were marked and silicone was all over the nuts and i mean all over some of the sensors bolted to the box were also covered in it. maybe a bad cheap recon thats why it hasn't lasted long
  9. they cant do enough to help, helped me alot with my gearbox problems gave me a wicked step by step (at 12 midnight) on how to take the gearbox out so easy to follow even i could do it. still need to take my zed to him when done to find my turbo leak thanks for your help guys

my zed never really impressed me as you would all know i have written in loads for advice to what the problem might be, it has been on consult computers and the engine is suposse to be fine, so was compression. the gear box has now gone from a line pressure solenoid fault plus lots of burning from the box, i beleave i have had this problem since i have had the car and am hoping this is what was slowing it down as i had one of those ALC things on and made no differance. everyone says you should be impressed so if your not somethings wrong after all these are called super cars
  12. why do zeds of 1995 have to have cats then
  13. mine is a 94 uk model can it be de-catted aswel
  14. would you mind if i gave him a ring too as i need one as well
  15. some good info on this site about a lot of cars http://www.fast-autos.net/nissan/nissan.html as for the ecu i was told by a nissan mechanic that a friend of his got hold of one from another nissan machanic at a big nissan garage (phew!!) cant remember were it was though could find out
  16. i was told you can de-cat a 300zx even after 1993 (when all cars must have a cat) is this true and is it worth doing. as for the r34 i was told they are 280bhp the ecu does this but there is an upgradable ecu you could get from nissan (i think nissan) which when you plug it in you get close to 400bhp
  17. some nice reverse parking going on there
  18. a true movie star cant see the zed though
  19. have any of you guys read this. looking a different zeds people sell, some people say they have 300bhp and some say 280bhp. the book says jap models were 280bhp because of the manufacturers in japan had an agreement to limit outputs to 280bhp. auto models in the us had different cams and feul injection settings but it says the uk models settings were because of our low octane fuel. im wondering if there is a way to get it to 300bhp without to much trouble, it cant be as simple as putting a higer octane fuel in could it. would running 101ron give you 20bhp just a thought
  20. i read 6 seconds quicker than a 928gt. the nurburgring in 8min 40 sec how does this time hold up to some of todays cars
