Good thing about rear spoiler is you can see clearly out of rear view mirror, can't even see spoiler in it. So many people have said this is one of the best cars on the site yet people are wanting to change it to look like all the rest. :headvswal Drive this car and see the reaction of people on the street, no one knows what it is, cos it is so different. It is individual don't try and make it look like everybody else's :eek:

Wait until you see the red leather in the flesh and the crappy chequered mats, I'm sure you will be surprised. Why make it look like every other 300, this is what makes the car different from any other and obviously one of the best from the comments and imo ;)

Judging by all the comments and the argument with the wife, I think I'm making a big mistake, I think Matt did the exact same thing when I was trying to buy it off him. Thats why it took us 6 months to get it. Even typing this out is causing arguments, :rant: we're trying to go for this house at the moment which is probably way out of our budget and I've got an Evo IX, it just seems the logical thing to do right now. :headvswal So, I'll stick with it for a bit.... £7000 no offers, I think this is a good price I like the mats, they're nothing like the tacky Corsa ones your'e thinking of :D

Who knows in 6 months time I might say "Yea" ! Tbh I didn't know what price to put it up for, all I've done since I've had it is change the oil, change the rear shocks, changed some water hoses and put new tyres on. I love this car and missus and son have gone mental for me advertising it :eek: But like I say it's hardly getting used and I could spend the money on tuning the Evo up just to leave that in the garage for months as well :rolleyes:

Look what I just found!! Calm down girls its not what you think....... This is off my computer chair and it fits the shock perfectly, the only problem is I've only got one chair. Anybody got an idea where I can get an office/computer chair plastic, springy, thingy from?

These shock cover boot thingys....where can I get some from? I did a search on here and someone had said Halfords do a universal one, I went to 2 of their stores today, one said they didn't do them the other one looked like he wasn't quite sure what a shock absorber was! Went to Nissan, they want over £60 for the 2 but can't guarantee they will be here before Christmas, I've already had the car on axle stands over 2 weeks waiting for my Bilstein shocks to turn up from Germany. That can't be doing the car much good I've searched the internet and there seems to be loads in the US and Australia, but I want them NOW

John Dixon..... now where have I heard that name before? :bow: The shocks broke at the top, if you look under the rear arch you can see where it has snapped.

Hi all, haven't been on for a while, usually just looking not posting. Had no major problems as yet, until now! Missus came home from work tonight with a worried look on her face, first thing she said was; " There's something wrong with the car, it made a strange loud noise at the back" . So I had a look at it and the rear shock absorber has snapped in half :shock: Anybody heard of this before? They're Bilstein shocks and I don't think they have been on that long mileage wise. Anyway, how difficult is it to change and now this has happened I don't want to use Bilstein shocks again, so what would you recommend? Its got 35mm lowering springs as well, if that makes a difference to the shock you use.

Rainbow ZTT - Love the paintwork! Wondering whether to do something similar to Zelda, as a few chips and cracks showing now. That's the thing with having a wife and a kid, we have to fight over it with it only having two seats....I usually end up on the bike most of the time.

We've had 2! I thought it was a great car, weak spots are the clutch and gear box is too weak for the standard GTIR engine, IMHO. I'd still have another one, it also has other faults like the electric windows, the speed sensor can fail, which is an absolute pig to change...... :x: This was our last one!
