  2. That one threw me too! :confused1::lol: Grey, that is sounding like an excellent collection you've got going on there, throw up a picture of the Impul one please! Hey Gaz, I assume the red lovely is still going strong?
  3. Yeah on 08 plate with the painful tax! ha ha. similar scenario myself but can't really justify a purpose for one at the time being, but with the job change my trips now are rare but long so fuel cost isn't so much an issue really compared to comfort, hence the want for another 32. :) IS yours still as was? or have there been any major changes?
  4. Hi Andrew, I'd love a vert, but without a second garage I can't justify the risk of it being left out with a canvas top unfortunately. I know that sounds silly, but I'm looking for the ideal daily, something I can drive, park up and not worry about, that's why I'm mainly thinking 2+2 targa. :) Thanks for taking the time to comment though, much appreciated. I'm hoping that someone does just pop up in here with the ideal car! :) Cheers, Wayne.
  5. Hey Gray cheers mate you too! I did the Murano thing in the end! Loved it! Not sure my pictures are working this time around but got a Nismo 370 now, which is nice! Definitely miss a 32 in my life though! Tony, I imagine with yours being a TT and swb that's it's probably too nice of a car for what I would want, I used mine as a daily driver you see, thanks though
  6. Thanks for the welcome back guys and the very thorough advice regarding car and pricing! I really regret getting rid off my last one as that entire list had been done! But sometimes we make stupid mistakes in life....... Still a fan of the NA rather than the TT so I'll start keeping an eye out! Thanks all!
  7. I'm not fussed really, 2+2 makes more sense but either really
  8. Hi all, I think it's been about 4 years since I last got some time to get on the forums, and although I still have a Z, it's of the 34 Nismo variety and as always is accompanied by a more sensible daily in the form of a Volvo or an IS200. Now then, I am and have been after getting back into a z32 since pretty much the day after selling my last one and so now I could do with some advice. Firstly, what is the going price nowadays for a 32? I've just spotted a slicktop that looks in amazing condition for 3k on here... unless I read something wrong....? So what would an NA manual 2+2 be worth then? And on top of that, what have people got for sale currently? :) Cheers, Wayne.
  9. Here I am after a long absence again so apologies for that! Many things have changed since my last post, mainly cars as usual and to date still no z32 back in my life but very much would like one if anyone is thinking of selling so get in touch if you have one! The line up otherwise is changed somewhat; As usual in order of relevance Z car Then the current 'as close to a z32 as I could get' IS200 LE with LSD Finally the two that still reside in the line up T5-r (Manual) and the 2CV! Serious about wanting another 300 though - NA 2+2 manual ideally again. Cheers Also, Gray - 350z sold to a friend of mine who still has it, he's made a few changes that aren't to my taste but hey ho!:laugh:
  10. Hi all, Firstly sorry for the absence, I'm in the last two weeks now of writing my dissertation for my MSC. So after that is handed in I will have a life again! Nice to see the previous owner approved of my tinkering and yes I'm afraid it is true, the car went to France. I ended up with a murano, which I loved, but then had a go in my girlfriends suzuki swift and fell in love with the thing! Therefore the list of cars now looks like this: 350z, Suzuki swift sport, Volvo 850 T5-r, E30 318 I lux, Citroen 2CV, E36 318is drift tramp, Vw T4 camper van, Yamaha R6. I think you'll agree the list now has a fair amount of variety to it....? I will return and am looking forward to the illuminations run if it's happening again this year? P.s. There is a classic and modified show on in Stanley park on the 7th September that I have the 350 and the 2cv in. If any mods want to post me and club flyers out then I'll happily represent.......? :) Cheers, Wayne. P.s. I will pop some piccies up when I get some free time :)
  11. Yeah throw some up! :) Then I'll put up the pics of what you should do to it! :)
  12. Ha ha fair enough :) I wouldn't say they're unreliable though to be honest, I've had a 2004 and this current one is a 2003 and this one I've had nearly 3 years now with zero issues. Maybe your pal got a Friday one? :) It's amazing the variation of standards that roll out of manufacturers nowadays.... I think I could be the only person ever to have an unreliable golf r32! 7 months ownership of a 2.5yr old car and every month it was back at the dealers for a major fault or two.....! Luck of the draw I guess. :) Gray stop talking about your murano, I'm already trying to forget they exist or you'll be seeing pictures of one of those on this thread next!!!!! :D
  13. Do you not like 350z's in general dan or just mine? Go kick yourself in the balls!!! :D Only kiddin mate each to their own. :) Cheers all for the opinions! Sarah, hold off on changing your suspension as doing just the springs has ruined the progressive feel of the 33..... I've got to sort the camber on the rear wheels before I make a final opinion..... It's made it too grippy!! :D
  14. Updates! Some visual updates to the cars, some mechanical, and also some new adittions! 300 now sits on 350z rims which i think really suit it! 350 now sits 35mm lower and on 19" rims with a Nismo replica lip, but i have a different one as i've decided this one is too big! Also a buddy club race exhaust, short shift kit, o2 sim and race condenser are waiting to be fitted..... New adittions over the holidays!!!! 850 t5-R 240 hp manual! beast of a daily runner but considering selling it on........ T4 camper project bought super cheap.... next summers tinkering already booked up here!! :D And the Pièce de résistance bought for my mum to use and as a bit of an investment, giving it to her on Saturday as its her birthday :) Dont poke fun at the 2cv too much! I actually like driving it :D
  15. Fair point there, though if the fronts and rears had the same arch, maybe they would be more subtle and make the right shape at the front too..... I know of some cheap arches so might just give it a go! :)
  16. Sounds like you're on the same likes as me funky! :)
