aaah ok i see... just weird how they are different figures thats all mines doesnt sit completely at -7 on idle so must be a boost leak somewhere?

but why do some cars show -14 0 and +14 and some show -7 0 and + 7 surely this would mean two different boost allowances?

what sensor did you clean?

hmm mibi try fitting a boost guage on it n seeing how it does

my mates honda civic same as yours doesnt have a light his car instead tells you the cars low on fuel when you turn it on itl stay on for 5 seconds then turn off itself... then on 2nd turn on its fine,.. weird but it says it in the manual aswell thats what its for

iv noticed today that my boost guage ( standard one ) goes from -7 to 0 to + 7 on idle the needle is halfway between the -7 and 0.. should this not be at -7 the whole time

ok used to sat nav and the car is still running in kmh and is just a slight bit innacurate. going to check the spark plugs over the weekend as its just not running 3 litre twin turbo style...sometimes itl throw you into chair sometimes it wont and at high revs it makes a struggle noise

im thinking maybe the car has been converted and is slightly out of sync? As in when the car sits at the 120k area its actually reading 120mph but its slightly off so could be the said limited 115mph ??

maybe the sensor in tank ?

its just weird how a 3 litre twin turbo car ( wich seems to be boosting fine ) is only going up to 130kmh at a push thats with power button on and over drive on... surely this car should exceed 130MPH never mind kmh. id imagine it being an import its limited to 115 MPH? but 130kmh being 80mph

will the car go faster if i turn off this overdrive thing?

will i be able to do that via uprev software??? what cable will i need? as my mate does all that stuff to his 350z id imagine it would be back compatible?

iv failed an mot twice with hids on my altezza and my a4 but its due ti angling as theyr all over the place bright the stock lights in these things r pretty pants id say i have to use my foglights to get decent light.

yup its got a light finally came on but the needle was below the empty and it was a low light for a while then lit up bright so must be working ok. yeh the miles were crap but it was on idle for a long time so il see how it gets on... now im not sure about the speed as its all in ks but if i do 50k it shud be 30mph but at 50k it feels far to fast to be doing 30mph and once it hits 130k it wont go higher without a struggle ... not amused

what cables are you using to check the ecu as i have most nissan software from uprev and cypher but not sure what cable to use... mines is a 93 tt auto

as the topic says do these cars have this light?? i knew this thing would be bad on fuel but with over drive and runing on hold mode i managed to get 40 miles with 20 quid although no light has come on if it should have

right so give that little thing a good clean aswell. hopefully get the car stripped proper down tommorow and try fek about with it to sort this annnoying issue

yes iv noticed people saying... cas. ptu and tps... no more short hands ha!

quality technology away ahead of its time... ok cd player is now sorted wiring was re dun. now new problems when in drive mode car will set at 1k revs and slightly move up and down... put it into park or nuetral and it goes up to 1.5... tried to sort it by moving what i think is the icv at the left throttle body? but it just changes the problem without sorting it. gave the maf sensor a clean aswell
