  1. both front tyres have worn on the inside.so i take it the tracking is the cause?
  2. if the bushes are worn in the front torsion bars will this cut the tyres out ie:same as if tracking was out?
  3. think i might have done something daft!!put charger on my battery but didn't disconnect it.could this have damaged the alternator?
  4. on way home tonite warning lights came on ,dash pod went dim & engine started misfiring.after abuot 5 seconds & me dipping the lights all went back to normal,would lack of power in battery cause this?
  5. how easy is it to remove the alternator?
  6. been having trouble with battery going flat,have changed it and tested to see if alternater is charging but it isn't.is there anything other than the alternater which could be causing this trouble?there seems to be a number of electical issues and am wondering if caused by same thing?any help welcome.:surrender:
  7. it's jap spec and been chipped,so not sure about speedo converter?
  8. hi andy,would say you're right mate,did same yesterday and rev counter stopped as well so clocks must be the cause.
  9. i'm near south molton about ten mile from barnstaple.saw one advertized on ebay from there but never seen one out here in the flesh!!
  10. the usual issues mate,speedo not working,power steering gone hard & hicas light coming on (fluid pot is full).
  11. looked at my speed senser today,the car is a jap spec tt & the senser is not like the one on jefftt's thread.the wires go into the cap which looks like it is perminantly fixed so am assuming this is not causing my trouble?

  15. went for a drive today,speedo stopped ,power streering went hard & hicas light came on.got home,turned off ignition,started car again & hicas light went out & power steering came back but didn't think to try speedo.i assume this is speed sensor related?:surrender:

  18. just been looking thru the mods on my zxtt,says has got uprated 5 stud garrett turbo's + divorces turbo elbows + is stage 3 chipped.anyone shed any idea on what sort of power increase these give?also has custom built twin exhausts with no cat.:huh:merry xmas & happy new year to all.:thumbup:
