  2. bridgstone and prelli p6000 i have liked the grip on them if your looking to do burnouts on it go for continential on the back it will wear less there harder tires

  4. ive lost interest in this thing now :( i want to get it sounding ok, do the oil pump, bodywork and flog it of! getting my self a jaguar xjr this cars not worth the work cant fit more then 2 pplz comfortably

  8. lol thanks jeff, i have another zx the one you cheked lol the red one, now i want to make one from the two im thinking about taking the plenum out and getting started on it while the enginez in the car if its easy after taking the plenum out i wil do take the engine out :) and doo all the seals on the engine aswell
  9. had my zx motd last well sounding like a dream and yesterday night i didnt even rag it ... sounds like the exhaust is banging and i come home poped the hood up itss coming from the top of the engine i fink but it aint a tapping nois its like dry metal so i checked the oil pressure via guage in the car it waz on 0 and then an hour later i seen it wen i started it agen it waz on 2 what can it be?

  11. lol its calmed down on the smoke, seems to look good but hating the smell, i meant the filter housing gasket, shall i drive it easy or take it down the highway and give it a drive softly like not more then 80 mph
  12. the gasket paper i got was too thin, talking about the oil flow i made sure id didnt get there most of the silicon came out of the housing, i made two and then siliconed it between eachothers, and cleaned the surface well and its a terible job to get it of again and again for the oil leak, from the leak i can see the ammount of oil pressure i have in teh car a good sign lol but was well annoyed on the second attemp and third finally all done good and proper lol
  13. its a peice of piss to do :D ... i had to take mines of 4 times because the oil cooler kepton leaking but i managed to get it done with 2 paper gaskets and shit loads of gasket silicone
  14. hi there, ive done the turbo the only little problem i had with the engine in the car was the oil cooler gasket and finally ive got that done and have started the car its still smoking but not as bad and now im thinking howmuch should i drive it for it to clear out? and how ? remember its an auto :D

  16. engine oil i know with the oilfilter is 3.5 litre exact gearbox oil i aint sure that has to be checked but ifits auto use dex 3 :D
  17. the plugs are dry no oil what so ever if the plugs was oily the car would be running lumpy but this is running sweet just the smoke on the right which i assume its the turbo but if its the turbo i wouldnt of expected there to be oil in the manifold or am i wrong :S ??? @smith yeah thats the one
  18. oh i can see the left turbo is a recon and the right hand turbo has been painted but ive got another turbo a good one ...
  19. lol smithy that was on my old zx i didnt mention i bought another one that was smokey and i bought that car beeing told that it has recon turbos both side
  20. oki i got another turbo but im curiouse about why is there oil in the manifold aswell when the turbo runs after the manifold :S ?? btw doing the turbo on this zx aint as big job as people say :S ... if you have the special tools to do it
  21. oki now the car was smoking on the right side badly and the car was running with out missing a beat beautifull and ive checked compression it was good both side reading the same cant remember it few days back now today i got the turbo out the exhaust manifold also has oil in it :S right hand side...
  22. lol i aint still sure because i dont want to move the engine out of the car as everything looks good and dry i dont mind taking an extra day on doing the turbo whilest its in the car but will get it on the ramp and get all the air tools on it and see the situation :D lol
  23. do i have to get the gearbox disconnected aswell ? and if i decide to do the turbo whilst its in the car then will i have to move the engine like lift it?
