Sorry to sound really thick Jaffa but how do I check or do I just pull it out and it'll be wet? Smithy, the garage put em in but they were heat rating 7 as no 8s available - they're on order though.

I will try changing the plugs around when it spots raining lol. the gap was set at 0.6mm when we put em in. I will check whether the connectors are green too but its doubtful as the whole loom is only about a year old. I could be wrong about it only being the one plug I guess. Thats coming from the fact there no change on the engine when I pull the plug off on that plug where there's a difference on the others.

Hi guys. Was at the dyno place yesterday finally getting the car tuned but got a problem. In short the car runs spot on until I go on boost at which time it misfires. I went through pulling off the coil pack connectors to see if any of these were down and it appears number 4 wasn't making any difference. I've tried another coil pack and also tried changing a couple round, the plugs were brand new but still no change when I pull the plug off. Any ideas what this could be or how I can check??? I have datascan if that helps. Maybe PTU perhaps? This is. Series 1 ptu.

Hi John, Its really no problem, I would have liked to have gone with you but I knew you were struggling with time. I was saying this to some of the guys at JAE. The guy is going to be doing it up here (well closer anyway as will be in Scotland which is going to take me about 3 hours) and isn't going to be stupidly priced or anything. Also a couple of the forum guys have used him and been very happy. Also he gets asked to go all over the world doing this kind of thing which I felt was good.

If you've been offered the job could you not just go and speak to the potential new manager to find out more? As above though, until you have something in concrete dont give up your current role. Out of interest, if its a lower role why are you going for it? Side to to other things perhaps?

Where would I get the better spark plugs Jimmer? A link would be great :o) Im going to Jeffs on Saturday so I doubt ill get em changed before I go but I might do. I never got the cams. To be honest I was pretty much told buy all this lot... So I did. But already had the 16G's. When you say 7 minimum but best looking at 8's to you mean the injectors?
