it sounds the same as hellraiser had, it was his belt tensinor, if it was bottom end you would only hear when revving it and letting the revs drop, it sounds lke a hammer knocking on the inside of the engine, doa search on bottom end i have a vid in there and shows what a knocking bottom end sounds like and how to diagnose it by removing the coilpacks when knocking is happening

mine was a d reg nova saloon, was lowered 60mil on spax suspension and shocks, had gte trim, gsi alloys was a 1 litre and had gte brakes on it, could beat all kinds round the streets, even had a guy who i raced in a cav sri pull me over and had a look under the bonnet as it was a quick car

it was the car that done it for button early in the season, but hamilton was the highest scoring driver of the second part of the season, i think with raikonnen going to mclaren next season they will be a force to be reckoned with

only a matter of time to be honest lol now lots of strange things are happening, when deleting things the cursor jumps all over the place and when i use the mouse pad it sometimes dont work and i have to use the cursor keys then it works again is there anything i can do to rectify this lol
