  1. Right here it is... This is the one from my spare S14 box, note the spring presses on both sides... This is the one from the Z32 box with broken spring, in the position to block reverse... The 2 units are almost the same, just a different length so I swapped the springs over, problem solved :D
  2. I think you got it right there Bigman. The spring on the lever that stops you selecting reverse from 5th was broken. I had a spare on my old S14 box so I swapped the spring over. I will post some pics up later :)
  3. It should be coming off on Saturday and replaced with the std S14 cheese box. Once its off I will have a look to find the problem :)
  4. Everything is fine except reverse. It won't go in with the engine on or off. Ive taken the trim off inside so I can see the selector bar at the back of the gearbox, it all looks okay. Cheers for your help :) Just so you all know, this gearbox is mouted to an SR20DET in my S14a. I bought the gearbox a while ago from a bloke called Simon on here. It has been superb until now with a ORC twin plate clutch. The std clutch line has been replaced with a braided hose directly between the master and slave cylinders and theres no change to the fluid in the bottle :)
  5. Hello, I seem to have lost reverse gear on my manual Z32 gearbox? No matter how hard I try to get it in gear, it won't go. It was driving fine before hand in all gears, no knocks or bangs  Anybody got any ideas please?
