oh ive taken the front out of a zed many many times .. im on my 4th zed in 14 years now lol and wiring looms are my speciality .. i make looms and control systems for larger boats in my spare time

Now ive got rid of my series one daily runner for a BMW diesel.. i thought with the cash i'll be saving on fuel, im going to treat myself to a 99 Spec Type R as a fine weather /weekend car I love the looks of the 99 spec and the interior, so the only thing i will be changing is wheels and exhaust, with maybe a few mild mods, boost controller etc.. the one thing i dont like is the new heater controls, does anyone know if the series 2 controls fit the 99 spec? and last but not least Who is a good reliable importer in the UK? ive heard so many horror stories when it comes to importers Cheers

Galaxy SII here ... i binned the iphone 4s ( not literally) .. apps are good but shite for making a call .. due to my job, i work in some remote places .. the iphone hardly ever had a signal .. no probs with the galaxy .. same network too .. so it cant be the network

yeah im really liking the 530d its a smart presentable car, with the added bonus i can fill the back back up with "erm the nice sparkly stuff i work with" the skoda looks like a good contender , went and had a look at an A4 today .. wasnt impressed by the room inside

had the same problem on my s14a ... quite a common prob .. a lot of people messed about with them with diff mods ... some ended up with the ball failing .. i left mine as it was .. 50k later .. still handled like it was on rails

Been looking about for a diesel estate (for work and getting gear down to the boat) .. but i think ive been spoiled over the year by owning Z's S14a's and dare i say it .. GTO So far the only thing ive seen and like the look of is the bmw 530 touring anything else i should consider?

you want a mineral based oil for running in, dont use fully synthetic as it wont help the ring bed into the bores

surely that would knacker the pump ? no fluid in there to lubricate/cool it?

Faulty electric rad/AC fan/ switch ? theres not much on a zed that will draw that sort of current .. and as redwine has said, i'd pull random relays while you have the multimeter in series

go direct on the motor mate, but just touch the wires on, if it tries to go up, reverse the wires

Dan , just out of curiosity, what lamps do the HID4U kits use .. i had a set and binned em for a philips system

im with you there .. the stock lamps are utter **** i just went for the dearer ones because i have to do a 15 mile trip in total darkness on some of the dodgiest twisting ountry lanes .. but the new philips ones are like flood lights lol
