Kev, its behind the near side B piller underneath the strutt cover going into the nearside wheel arch, hope its the fill vent tube.

No it went pshhhhhhh with petrol smell :headvswal The pipe is under the strut pods beneith a small cross member going across the car. Will get a photo tomorrow. I have put a pop rivet in it for now but I think it needs replacing :headvswal

Just drilled through a fuel pipe!! if you remove the piller covers on a SWB there is a crossmember on the passenger side. I have just put a 4mm hole through this into hopfully what I think is the fuel vent pipe! not the fill pipe. can someone confirm this is so. Many thanks Allan
