    Hi Smithy Many thanks for your commets. A look inside the ECU has shown up a corosion issue on a 1 ohm resistor which has been rectified and may hold a clue. I will re-fit the ECU and carry out the diagnistic check you suggested

    Help Please!! !- just started the beast after the winter lay up - Started Ok BUT Rad fan is running all the time ( from ignition on ) and engine is only running on one bank. One exhaust sweet as a nut, the other just smells like a swamp rat. Have checked thermostat control which seems ok so could this possibly be due to damp having got into the ECU ?
