thanks for the help some good things to try and some not so helpfull (yes ive found the caps lock key didnt know i was being tested thuogh) il try a look at the gearbox sensor cheers

CAN ANYONE HELP IVE BOUGHT MY FIRST ZX ON A BUDGET ITS A N/A AUTO WITH LOW MILES AND IN FAIRLY GOOD NICK BUT ONE PROBLEM IM HAVIN IS THE SPEEDO IS MEGA ERRATIC THE NEEDLE FLICKS UP AND DOWN AND SOMETIMES NOT AT ALL WHICH CAUSES SOME INTRESTING HANDLING ISSUES AT SPEED WHEN THE SPEED DEPENDANT STREERING PACKS UP IVE CHECKED THE WIRING AND ALL IS OK AND THE CAR IS STILL RUNNING IN KM HELP I LOVE THE CAR BUT NEED TO SORT THIS!!!:cursing:
