  1. Thanks for the advice.im still waiting for my car to be returned. the problem I have is theres no mechanic around where I live that know the in's and out of these cars!!!!
  2. ill take a pic tommorow once I have it towed back..the problem was there before even after putting the thermostat back. the mechanic says he feels theres alot of pressure coming through. but is that not normal for a 300?
  3. I beleive its the intercooler hose pipe that im refering to
  4. Hey guys, need some help with my 300 tt my car started to overheat one day whilst driving when I pulled over on my drive there was water all over on the road. had it checked by my mechancic and confirmed my radiator needed replacing. i bought a standard radiator through ebay recomended by a club member. after having the radiator replaced and running the engine whilst parked one of the hose pipes connecting the radiator to the engine cracked and statted to steam. the mechanic cut the cracked side and placed it back and the same problem repeated. i had the thermostat removed and checked and it was all clear. the mechanic left the car running and there was no problem amd as soon as he started to drive after sometime the same thing happend and had to leave it on a side road..he assumes the head gasket is gone but im not fully convinced. has anyone had a similar problem if so what can it be or what can I do? many thanks Azeem
  5. I am looking for a radiator for a automatic TT. Please message if anyone has one for sale. Thanks
  6. Ive had the power steering pump and belt recently chagned on my 300 with new steering fluid. however the hicas light and the abs light remained on. Anyhow the car worked fine till now, everytime i turn the steering it makes a loud grinding noise and i can see the steering fluid has gone significantly low. could the grinding noise be due to lack of fluid or am i looking at a greater problem? Thanks
  7. Well there's actual voltage coming in to the adaptor for the stereo so the fuses are all ok disbelieve but nothing still works?
  8. I will try remove the stereo and see if theres any loose wires about as I have opened the whole boot and checked for the earth it seems to be firmly screwed on...
  9. Cheers for the info.....however I had a look at the fuse they seem'd fine to me but nevertheless I replaced them both and it made no difference. Could it deffinatley be the earth? Thanks
  10.
