Don't know what your intentions are academic wise but if you love tinkering with cars so much get yourself on an apprenticeship asap. You need deep pockets to keep an average Z32 from falling apart. At least with a few years in the trade you will have enough skills to do a lot of the work yourself properly.

From my point of view, I would not believe for one second that the cars mileage is legitimate when the VIN has been removed. That's my buyers point of view. I would not even consider buying it. Sorry but that is my opinion. I would chuck the car back at the importer or drag it through court if it was me

Agreed, I would not even be considering putting this on the road. What happens if you do and in the future you want to sell it? Whoever looks at that scratched off VIN will walk away
