Sorry guys - just thought of another Q. Can anyone tell me what the switchable Auto does? theres an A/T button with HOLD and AUTO - and Overdrive on the gear lever. A quick heads -up as to what each button does would be really appreciated! Cheers, Sean

Hello All, I've just bought a 300zx 2+2 twin turbo on a J plate. It was imported in 2002 and is a 1992 car. I kinda bought it 'blind'. I've got no 300zx experience, I've owned a WRX impreza before - but nothing like this........the car came without any history and there are no stickers on the timing belt cover indicating a recent belt. The speedo is in MPH and the mileage shows 65k. Its fine on cold idle, warmed up and moving I'm having no dramas - but as soon as the engine is warm and I get stuck in traffic I'm getting worrying amounts of blue smoke. I've booked the car in for a cam belt brake, and oil service change but wondered if its a) a common problem, or b) something I might want to re-mortgage the house to sort out. I fully appreciate it was a foolhardy impulse purchase - but i'm already in love with the car and would very much appreciate the benefit of your wisdom! Oh, and can anyone reccomend a good mechanic in south east london / kent / surrey area?? :blush:
