Hey guys yes i got a few pics too still somewhere , my son is hooked he wants a twin turbo 300zx , seen a nice 5k one on ebay not sure about the guys feedback though is he on here ? how all you lot doing i bumped into Jason farrow at a meet in november froze my nuts off , ,

I was another who was ripped of by this lot as was my friend karlos g , we were both ripped of at same time , I sadly sold my zed after 6k spent inc new engine fitted by a proper zed mechanic not a chef . there might be my old thread somewhere ,i spent 3.900 pounds to have uprated turbos bottom end rebuilt inc bearings etc ,and few other bits which were never done , car never even made it home 80 miles away it locked up almost wiping me out on the m25 i was facing the wrong way going backwards with a hgv hurtling towards me , end cap wasnt torqued properly came loose as thread was stripped conrod threw side of block , , even after the car went back to him it wasnt untill i got it trailered that i noticed a lot of my mods and gearbox parts ecu etc were missing , no doubt stolen to fix other cars , , this expereince killed any future happiness for me in zeds , Thankfully when it came to sell my now running zed my"upgraded" turbos were smoking , oh and they were stock ones by the way resprayed , Then A very good zed place called z world , hope there still running , had very kindly offered to recon my turbos for free when i sold the car to a the new owner ,"now had new engine fitted and new gearbox "and all missing parts replaced , Mainly because they had heard of my plight , And offered to help me out , I am so glad that there are people out there willing to to help put a few wrongs by others right , hope my old zed is still going sold it to a really top bloke in portsmouth , reg h**3dmy in black auto tt anyways i heard a ztech was taken over by his brother ?

just worth mentioning that they will only vic test the car if it has current mot tax and insurance and must be in roadworthy condition , , ie repaired , as above anyone getting insured on it will be notified by insurance company that its a cat c , they have to tell any new owner by law ,as do you if you sell it on repaired or otherwise , it will lower the cars value , the reason fo rthe vic test is they just check the cars identitiy , Viechle Identity Check . v.i.c. reason for this is to insure you havent gone and stolen another identical viechle and swapped over numbers and shell etc , in short they check its the same car the insurance company have written off , , any government run mot station or check dvla web site or vosa , they will help you with booking a vic test in your area, hth paul ! ps stella ive sent you a pm

just thought i would add to this as its a little quiet , basically about 2 yrs ago most of the south east section we all used to go to meets at bluewater ,including my bro in law ,and his wife lesley , she sadly passed away on 26th of july .she had been fighting cancer for 3 yrs , she was on the cancer reasearch adds right at the end the lady with the blue head scarf. and currently these adds are still running ,she was given wrong identity on purpose as stu didnt no about the adds untill her passing as it was her wish ! she was a brave woman , knowing it was terminal but she still did the advert , basically to all those that knew her here is a memorial page for you to leave a message or kind words , thanks paul !

hi stella have you tried the auctions , not ebay company called minehems , i visit one in wimbledon , there mainly car finance firms and car dealers that sell on cars for a lot less than book i see a mint contion e8 go for 7.5 k ,55k on clock , the finanace company just wanted there money back !! so it sold well under book , see if theres any local to you ,i also have a list of sites that sell cat d or c cars , hth, ps im on mlr as well as you know

hi kim ,, ive not been on for a while ,hi all ,new and old ! well done to the zed for flexing itself and showing well on top gear ! ive always said it and i always will mean it i will get another , i miss mine like crazy !

its like you hear people say ,, oh have you seen that film ,, or have you been there, things you must do , have to do even if its only once you must do it , ,, go and see this car in the flesh it beggars belief , great looking car as allways jason , you go to any meets near by soon would love to pop over and have a chin wag again like the old days ,
