November Meet (joint NE/Scotland)
Looking to organise a joint meet with Scottywill and his scottish members for Sunday 13th November. I've suggested 3 places 1. Hawick 2. Galashields 3. Jedburgh Thinking something along the lines of: 1. Meet at Washington Services (northbound) 2. Cruise up to Scottish Borders 3. Joint meet with Scottywill (maybe pint and bite to eat) 4. Cruise back to North East Does that sound the bo^*ocks or what? Let me know your thoughts Steve 13th November STEVE-300ZX Mac 1 BanditUK Apache jonrms LEONARDO BigPhil JIM BEALES paulg Cadpaul Mujina

Anyone been to Thailand?
Been a couple of times including our honeymoon. 1st time (honeymoon) April 2000 5 nights in Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Bangkok 2 nights in Krabi (can't remember name of hotel) 15 nights in Diamond Cliff Hotel & Spa, Patong Beach, Phuket Had an absolutely brilliant time. Loads to do & see, too much at times. Phuket was fantastic and if you go, you have to stay at Patong Beach. 2nd Time ~ December 2001 7 nights in Singapore 10 nights in Bali 12 Nights in Pattaya 2 nights in Bangkok Wouldn't recommend Pattaya, seedy as fook.

Tyrespot knacked my wheel
Went into my local Tyrespot dealers last Tuesday to repair puncture to my NSR tyre. Kid sorting it out for me, damaged the outer rim of the wheel when removing the trye. I actually saw him do it, as my words to him were "You haven't, have you?". Manager came out and said "OK, we'll repair you puncture for nowt". A few year ago, I would probably have said "OK, fair enough" but fook that. I said "sorry mate, that's no good to me. I want my wheel repairing". Trouble was, the wheel had been curbed twice already :headvswal by yours truly and was about twenty times worse than the damage done by them. Mobile repair man came and said "Fook all I can do with that, it needs skimming". Area manager called out and said he would try and find a company that could repair 19" Diamond cut wheels. Anyway, got back to me on Friday saying that he'd managed to find a company in Birmingham (Prestige Wheels I think he said) but it was £120 + VAT + Shipping. I thought, why not push you luck here, so said to area manager. "Look mate, it's going to cost thick end of £160 to repair the wheel and it might not come back right. If the match is out to the other wheels, I won't be accepting it. Safer bet to bite the bullet now and buy replacement wheel (£249.95). Tell ya what I'll do, You pay the £160 and I'll cover the balance". He agreed. :D Couldn't believe my luck. Went down today to get brand new wheel fitted. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: I'll post a pic of the damaged wheel so you can see the slight damage compared to the 2 x curb marks I did. I would recommend Tyrespot to anyone. Just goes to show, you don't have to just accept it and walk away. Do what the Germans do and say Fook that, get it repaired/replaced.

350z road test today
WRONG WRONG WRONG The Engine and gearbox from the 350 are both designed and manufactured by Nissan. Nothing at all to do with Renault. The engine is the same as the 3.5ltr Murano. The Murano gearbox is different. Just because the shitty Renault Vel Satis (or whatever it's called) was out first doesn't mean the engine must be a Renault design.
