It is not there for paint protection. It's purely for sound deadening. Most decent spec cars have sound deadening under the hoods. Primeras, Quashqis etc have the same.

Came in from work at 02:00am this morning to find 3 MSN messages on my PC. First was from kirbz with a link attached (think the link was something about "find out who blocked you on MSN"). Message from JoelyP was a request to add him to my contact list and the third was a nudge from MAC. Spoke to Joel this morning and he didn't send the request. Completely baffled :confused: :confused: :confused: I have removed all MSN software from my laptop for now.

Athene has control of the database now, so she may be able to update that list

Both o2 sensors were changed about 3000 miles ago, so shouldn't be that.

If this is the case, will this old petrol do any damage, or am I OK just to use it up? Should I refill now and mix it with the old fuel or wait until the old has been fully used before refilling with fresh petrol?

Will check the sender out. Not sure about the Aux fan, will need to check.

Does that mean if you pop into a shell garage that hasn't got a large customer base for V-Power, you may end up with old fuel from their tanks that could indeed be more like 96-97 ron? That's pretty shit init!! They don't tell you that when you're forking out premium prices for the stuff.

Didn't realise it was just two weeks. There's about three quarters of a tank in her, so I'd better take it easy with the boost until I refill then eh!

Don't think it's anything like that. Just smells of unburnt fuel from the exhausts.

Started the car for the first time today, since Zedfest last September. Had to pop to the local Tyrespot for a replacement battery. Noticed that the idle is very high (1100-1200) and it's running as rich as fook.......stinks of petrol. Any ideas on a quick fix...or could it be one of a thousand things? LOL Is it because she hasn't been used for 6 months and maybe needs a good run out?

Mine did have a 32bit ECU originally but I changed it to a 16bit to allow me to chip it. Mine is something like 395ft/lb of torque (modified though, obviously) :)

No mate, he bought another from Whitley Bay area. He wanted some parts I think and this was available. he's now breaking the rest.
