sorry i have not got back too you john300zx as ive been using my mates pc my mate managed too fix it.it was the wiring that came from the pcu that had all broken he had to solder loads of new wires back on so thats it working now thank god eh a big thank you too all that tried too help

after looking thru the search i found old posts saying about the ptu sensor as there is a strong smell of petrol coming from the car as well but i just thought that flooded the engine does the problems am having sound like the ptu sensor

thanx very much john i will prob will be texting you very soon as the car still aint going an i need the passenger indecator on the bumper.an too make things worse the guy that was ment to be helping me with the car will not anwser his phone how much luck can one man have eh i had one of my other mates have a look at it an we tried all the usal try an wiggle all the usal wires and clean up the spark plugs but still no joy he says that it sounds like ether a air lock or the the engine is not getting no petrol too it or the imobilllser is kicking in but the red light that flashes is going out is there a air bleeding valve on the engine some where so ican try an rule that out of the big list of things it could be thanx again

cheers guys i had a look and it looks like the plastic side has came off the intercooler realy quite badly and the top bit that holds the intercooler has snapped off as well i will update tommorow and tell yous if thats what it was or not as my so callled mate came down took it off and says that he was away too get his dinner and never came back too put it back togher again the moral of the storry is you cant get the friends now a days lol

cheers for that rob if that is whats wrong with it how would i get rid of the air lock as i only know some things about the car.am waiting on my mate comin back down hes a mechanic he has seen it all ready he tried the usal things as at first he thought it was the fuel as he said it sounded like there was none going too the engine the car has flooded so he says leave it a few hour an he will try again so thats why i came on here as hes a ford mechanic and does not realy know alot about 300zxs

hello people can you help me as i have a very sick 1990 z32 300zx auto yesterday when going into a car park my car slid on black ice a hit the corner of the pasenger side only a very small bump now the car wont start after the bump the revs would jump all over the place from 500 up too 1100k revs an back down an when i tried to press the throttle it would not work then 2 secs later it would do its self so i parked it up an left it for about an hour then i had to drive home on the way home the car would not go above 2500k revs an would not change gears either an then the car cut out when the car was going turned the key car came back on then the car would change gear so i parked it up over night came out this morning it did turn over an the revs dropped and the car cut out and wont start again please i beg can anyone help as am very stuffed with out my car thanx for any help at all

i think a mate of mine told me that there was a red one in falkirk but i did not belive him as hes from carronshore as you know what there like lol are you the same as me with people always asking what kind of car is that bet it cant beat a skyline and why dont you take it to the falkirk cruise.the good side is that when your driving about people always stop an look at the car as there too use to seeing clit cars scooby an evos what age are you as am 27 an people always ask as well whats the insurance like on that as my age an i live down the bottom end of alloa am sure youve heard of it lol

Can anyone help me with my z32 auto 1990 import as there is a very loud banging cumming from under the centre consol i think its cumming from ether the gearbox or the exhaust i have done i search but no one has described as being the same prob as mine as the banging does not go away after the car heats up its constenly there any help would be great thanx

Sorry to hear that mate but it sounds like the same as mine but have not found out what is wrong with mine hope its not expensive as moneys quite tight as saving for holiday Hope someone can help us both out

Thanx for that mate but got it sorted i was selling a honda when the buyer come to see the car he said whats wrong with your 300zx.i told him about the alarm he went over to it pressed the buttons on the fob an then started working he works for honda an is cobra approved an said if it happens again to phone him an bought my honda what a result eh could not ask for anymore could i

i have not long bought a 300zx tt import with a cobra alarm/immobiliser the 7928 model the thing is that a mate of mine was trying to fix my high idle an when he went away i tryed to lock my car using the fob but nothing happend so i tryed to start the car but the immobiliser had kicked in.so with the fob not working i had to do it manual and lock the car with the key I thought it might have been a battery so got a new one an still no joy has this ever happend to anyone else or do you have any ideas on what it could be i have tryed the search but no joy thanx for your help ianchy
